We have removed Aether completely from our modpack (not many of us used it anyway) and deleted the Gilded Games util jar. We no longer seem to crash when we're moving about as normal. However, teleporting causes us to crash producing the same error report and still references FastCraft. The attached document is the crash report that was produced.

EDIT; Turns out I forgot to delete Aether and Gilded Games jar files client side. Thank you for the help!

We're running modpack called GT New Horizons and for quite some time now the server stalls every once in a while, causing players to time out.
The server has enough RAM and CPU power, TPS is always at 20 with 10ms work time.

Sampler managed to get some info but we lack the skill to pin point the problem when google fails.
Sampler log: http://pastebin.com/M4rspZvJ
Server log: http://pastebin.com/qa4kULKu - happens at 16:32:15

The "Server Thread" is always at the top with the same error you can see in the sampler log.
Does that have something to do with world saving and disk I/O?

Thanks for all the help,
Methes

EDIT:
After removing fastcraft we get a lot more of these

The stall report contains a stack trace for every thread, telling you what the specific thread was doing at the specific point in time. Especially with repeated identical mentions across multiple reports, you can easily pinpoint the issue by looking at the Server thread's stack trace.

In this case it's the enhanced portals mod taking a long time to save its state. It may be leaking excess/redundant information due to a bug, causing it to build up and take a long time to save. Check if <world save dir>/EP3_PortalLocations.json or <world save dir>/EP3_PortalNetworks.json are larger than a few hundred bytes. I'd suggest removing the mod until they fixed the bug. It's also possible, yet unlikely, that you disk is dying with slow I/O.

I encountered this unfortunate crash too last night when I excitedly rushed to update Optifine for native shaders support in 1.7.10 (total game changer for 1.7.10 shaders users) only to find out that it is conflicting with my most beloved performance enhancing tool ;(

My guess is, that this mod and the new optifine functionality try to modify the same parts of the game and/or create a conflict that causes a crash. I think that would be one reason this tool only exists for 1.7.10 and not up.

I'll have to check, to test this theory. If it works, great. If not, might need a fix.

Edit: It works! Awesome.

Any news on 1.10.2?

Is there any development being worked on? Just curious.

Is this version stable? I can obviously see that 1.23 is the current release version, so is this 1.24 what would be considered developmental, and prone to have bugs?

I'm just wondering if I should download and use it, instead of 1.23. I like to always have the most up-to-date mods.

1.24 is designed to work with the latest Optifine, so if you've not got that I doubt there's any difference you'd see between them.
145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realise that what you read was not what I meant.

I see this too much.

1.10+ development is still ongoing.

Build 1.24 only fixes Optifine compat, otherwise it should behave identical lyto 1.23. Build issues aside it should bejust as good, I just like to wait a couple days before publishing new versions on a broader scale.

I seem to get this crash quite often, does anyone know what would be causing it? http://pastebin.com/JGU1XQUM

Some mod is incorrectly modifying the entity list, presumably concurrently, Try running version 1.24 with -Dfastcraft.debug.wcit

I'll try that, thanks. Hasn't happened since. Just typical.

Hi there I'm getting crash when near village with shaders from optifine. I can reproduce it, everytime after crash and I relog back in at the same place it will crash me again sometimes not directly, around 5 - 10 seconds sometimes directly.

Here is the crash log https://pastebin.com/DVBYaeeR
I don't know if this is the correct place to report this but the crash report mentioned fastcraft and shaders.
