Is AE really that good? I browsed the wiki and took a look around, and it only seems really suitable if you are playing on a server.
AE is the ultimate solution to any and all item storage problems. No matter how much you need to store, you can store it, and access it from anywhere.
On top of that, while its recipes cannot be made GregTech-compliant, they can be forced to require a BuildCraft Assembly Table, its storage systems can accept any form of power (including, oddly, RotaryCraft power), it does autocrafting, it does automated import and export, it does basically everything you could ever want in base management, and now in the final version you can even transport fluids and energy, and store and move entire chunks.

It's really that good.

If you want all your stuff accessible at once yes, on single player though, it is a pain to setup for what you get. Logistics pipes does the same thing but without auto crafting being all in once machine.
145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

Thermal Expansion - entire factory, 2 blocks. Pulveriser on a furnace
145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

I think the only overclockers I ever craft is one for my macerator, e-furnace and extractor, 1 for each, and only for the first I make

I might start using transformers + overclockers more since the new changes. Makes stuff like that easier.

Yeah or something new, like a coal mine in a multiblock structure. The downside would be "pollution", something many peopel suggested.

Even lava is no good without other mods; no way to get it into fluid pipes for distribution until much later game.

Raw energy crystals that are found in the world that if touched give you quite a nice zap and associated damage? These energy crystals me thinks would put to shame IC2's crystals :p Of course they have to be stuck inside a machine/power generator in order to make use of the energy.

I want greg to make me a robot. Doesn't hafta do anything. Just be there. Maybe walk back and forth. Maybe pick up after me. Polish my machines when Im not around. Tell me it loves me and Im the greatest.

...

Then when I build my nuclear reactor it integrates with it, grows massive and I have a boss fight against my robot.Oh, and name it Bob.

little problem with newer versions (after 405b) of gregtech
Receipt of compressor showes "fire" instead of tin ingots and receipts/compressor don´t work.

It only shows Fire if there is no such Ingot registered at the OreDict. One of your Mods must have broken the OreDict entirely.

And I dont get that Problem with latest IC² and GT.

Regarding the expansion of the bronze age, I feel that multiblock steam generators (gregtech ones) would add some sustainability of bronze age tech into the electrical age. The multiblock steam generator would produce large amounts of steam, which can either be used directly onto any bronze age or steam upgraded electrical age machine, or through Greg's large steam turbine.


Also, maybe bronze age macerator that produces 1.5 dusts per ore in addition to the grinder? :thumbsup:
