    Who is OM anyway?

GENERATION 28: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the
    generation. Social experiment.
    I have copied this line

  • "Changed dustLapis to gemLapis to make OM SHUT THE HELL UP."

    Who is OM anyway?

either "Oh my" or he forgot a G (Oh my Gosh/God)

  • You know how every single GregTech thing gave off Arbor when scanned with the Thaumometer? Not anymore. I added Aspects for pretty much everything that is somehow in the OreDict.

  • Greeeg! Another bug.
Black Granite Cobblestone can no longer be smelted to Black Granite, or Black Granite Bricks made.

    Quote

    Quoted from "zorn":
People can't handle losing. Lots of new games are like this. My son's Lego games? You die and respawn on the spot, just lose a bit of money. It's made so that anyone can win, even the worst players. Like TE, or EU. They say that IC2 is 'keeping them from moving on' but can never say what that is. In reality they just failed, blew up a bunch of stuff, and their fragile egos couldn't take it so they gravitate towards mods designed to guarantee that you succeed.

  • Last I was on the server, none of the GT tools would work in a bibliocraft tool rack, despite having names like pickaxe, sword, axe, etc.

Fixed. Was the same Issue I had with the Casings.

Now I want to get home and check aspects for sulfur, calcium, stone dust and other useless materials. Maybe they have become less useless... (like ignis from sulfur)

Sulfur still has just Ignis (at least now, before it also had Lux in my System)

Update: Added 5 brand new Compound Aspects, which can describe things much better. They are currently not used to create or research anything, but you can try to find all 5 of them (every Aspect of those can be found by Scanning, except maybe one, but that is depending on your Worldgen).

  • Really I should have been keeping up with all these updates on the wiki. Ahh well.

145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realise that what you read was not what I meant.

    ---- Minecraft Crash Report ----
    // I just don't know what went wrong :(

    I see this too much.

  • Greg, have a question if youll indulge me... do you design the mod assuming people will use BC quarries?

Because the fact that GT changes the recipe has always made me think that you intend for people to use quarries, but getting through the tech tree now in 1.6, im not so sure anymore. I posted here last week or so about how Miners were really not much cheaper than a BC quarry, so most every player would just use the quarry. But miners make a lot more sense. Once you make a BC quarry a lot of the struggle disappears, and its often not worth the work to get the byproducts of many of the machines. I really dont need to run most things through the industrial grinder, its easier to just quarry more ores and macerate them.

If you design things under the assumption that Miners would be the only auto miner, how long would it take to get enough redstone to make the chrome needed for a fusion reactor?

Anyway, if you care to share any of your design 'vision' id be interested to hear it. :) It has taken me months to realize that a lot of the things that get added to modpacks ultimately ruin the fun... is the BC quarry one of them?

Would also be interested to hear opinions from other players on this.
