[GregTech-6][1.7.10][Website][Patreon] Info, Support and Suggestions

  • Ah, okay, thank you. I'll look up the recipe on a wiki or something, maybe use minetweaker to add another recipe with the same ingredients, just in a different pattern. Thanks again!

  • Hey guys, I know that's the wrong place to ask, but, nevertheless:
I have some strange shit going on with redpower project red cables. So I placed one to my reactor, made it long, like, about 70 block, place a lever, boom, crash. Now, the server stays on, only my client crashes. I rejoin, everything is cool, then, I pull the switch, boom, it torns on, BUT my client still crashes. Same shit is happening when I try to switch it off. It goes off, but I crash. I even have logs for both of these events. Do you mind helping me finding the problem?

    update your chickenbone mods

  • Not to me! To Chickenbone and post him a full FML log.

Nigga, thanks for the advice man, top kek. I am not interested in that, that's some redpower shit in that is not reproduceable, only on that current lever and reactor. Reporting for new versions of chickenbones was not that appealing to me.

A full wall of upgraded machines exploded matching the above log
    IC2 build 397
    GT 4.08s

Machines where upgraded to 8192 EU/t and used since weeks without issue, fed by an underground IDSU, glass fiber on floor and transmitting power upward to next machine
No exposition to outside weather hasard
No mob explosion or griefing (gamerule doMobGriefing false)

I am going to configure/disable all configurable explosions cause for GT machines because there won't be fixes for this version of GT for 1.6.4.
I wonder if it is possible to disable machine explosions entirely?

Any advice or workaround other than disabling machine explosions altogether?

  • Hello.
Now Electronic Circuits is crafting from Red Alloy Plates. But since Red Alloy impossible to craft with dusts, it's require Alloy Smelter, which require a lot of machines, and, of course Electronic Circuits. So i need for circuits machines, which needs circuits. Am i wrong?

You use a Steam Smelter from GregTech steam powered bronze age.

  • Some Mekanism recipes have broken since I upgraded Gregtech to 4.08s from 4.07e. Also, the dartcraft recipe for circuits has broken as well since updating. (i suspect the change in 4.07x caused this, and it also doesn't work in 4.08c). The recipe problems only apply to circuits, and even with disabling ore dictionary interaction with the Control Circuit in the mekanism config, it is still uncraftable.
This was first reported on the Mekanism github: https://github.com/aidancbrady/Mekanism/issues/1127

  • That awkward moment when you have finally done your standard casing for your blast furnace, you have no more ressources to continue anything else, you put some stainless steel dust in, and it requires a heat of 1700K.

Well, I suggest you go loot some dungeons, looking for steel tools and armor, and smelt them.
