Ok, we could make some kind of add on to do that, sadly no one of us has coding knoledge, we are administrators. Could u help us or do u know someone that could? The server load is getting dangerously high.
So, base-editing classes? You could try to overwrite the class files using java reflection... I don't really know, but I'm sure someone here could help you with this. I'll maybe try doing something later today if I have any time left...
If you're talking about me, I haven't completely disappeared. I check this thread regulary but now I'm working on another mod. I hope to return to this mod in nearest future to add planned features.
I do the same for Transformer Converters.
That GregTech is enough to keep him busy for a very long time.
You should focus on only one mod in my opinion (the one you like best to work) and then add new content for it.
I will start trying to cut the number of mods down by first updating them to 1.6, then maybe handing them over to (some?) a secret person(people?)... can you guess?
You should change "Transformer Converters Development Thread" to "Master Reincarnated Mods Thread" because you upating lot of mods and lot of things for IC2 :3
I should, shouldn't I? I'll make another thread later when I'm on my real account. Assuming Greg lets me of course.
I think you should first get everything running on experimental as it was before and then make assembler overclockers stackable (nr. configurable if possible) with a special behaviour i'd say. Also maybe add in some GT compatibility (lithiumpacks). That would all be awesome
(If you asked UnixRano what to change ignore this :D)
I'll try to get everything working later on today. I'll try at-least. I might make that work, but I don't really know how. As I said to someone already, I know how to update, but not add new features in. Unfortunately, I have to see what other people want or need for me to add new features in. I also need to fix most of the source code since its not very... overriding-ey. @Override is very present in many used methods...
Anyway, what generators do you want to see? I'll put up a poll later when I get home.
See the first post for the download link. I packaged F4113N-C0R3 and AdvGenerators together for convenience. I might just keep the cycle like this. Probably not though. Not for later-later versions.
Before asking other modders to help you should show them you are capable of doing modding in first place. I suggest you do some simple mod, doesn't matter what it does. You could just copy random features from other mods if you like, it'll teach you the basics of modding (and force you to learn coding in the process).
This is how I learned modding. I first made a tools and armor mod. It took me almost a month to get it some-what working. :\ If you need help OP, message my real account with any questions. Master801 is the real account by the way.
So, what should I change, or implement in? Or make the changes like what Zuxelus is doing?
That is quite true.
But then again, TE itself isn't balanced, when you compare against Buildcraft.
TE's tier 1 dynamos produce 80 RF/t (8 MJ/t).
BC's top tier engines produce 6 MJ/t.
Meh, its all the same to me. If a mod is broken, you adjust recipes.
check your settings for the conversion ratio...make sure they aren't set to a 2:1 rate
and check the default config settings
no...no pipes...I think we have enough
especially since there is talk of the BC team adding in a liquid diamond pipes
Okay, I'll check the ratio when I get home. I'm currently pissing my time away during class. But, but... no pipes? How about another add-on for Transformer Converters? A,BuildCraft|Transport addon? (Probably not though... I have enough stress on me from school and now that one mod by Sentimel(I think its spell't like this?).) I was going to do almost everything Sentimel is doing...
10 RF = 1 MJ
1 MJ = 2.5 EU
So, the default energy ratio should be 4 RF = 1 EU
You should also add a config for loss. (give in %)
For example, if there is a 10% loss on EU, if you input 100 EU, only 90 EU is converted, the other 10 EU is wasted.
I shall be sure to use this ratio if my enslaved math calcu-rator finds them correct. Of course though, I will use the rf ratio no matter what.
Thanks for your response. Not 100% code reviewed but I hope I found almost all errors. Still thinking about tier levels and charge amounts of ic2ca items.
Also have an idea to add tier 5 which can be charged only in special Armor Charger (not finished). After next build will start 1.7.2 version.
So, you wanna collaborate or not?
No rush, not really at that point in the game anyway.
if he doesn't respond to my request in a couple of hours, I'm gonna look into his code for help with the tile entity problem. :\ If he does respond, and says no, I won't hate him for doing so. To be honest, I get really jealous when someone updates a mod that I looked into, or actually worked on. It just makes me work harder on my mod. I don't really try to be, unfortunately, these human feelings are inferior for my mind. I rather not have human feelings because, it just hurts all the time.
He really isn't. Hes more like, I rage at people for the smallest things, and yell at the household members for doing things I don't do but I yell at them anyway, abuse my nephew (and nieces?). And stuff like that more. That and hes very disgusting. At-least once a month he decides to explode the bathroom with, stuff... / done ranting about my idiot father.
reflowed? what does that mean?
Well, to be exact, the gpu needs to be re-flowed. Meaning, it overheated, and lost contact with the actual motherboard. Meaning, I either have to stick it in the oven, or use a heat gun to do the process.
YAHHHAOOHOOHOAHAWHAH! Capes work
On a less positive note, other things work slightly less, such as buttons disappearing when you click them
I know they don't work. I don't know why they disappear though.
my cap isn't working, and my name is Kye_Duo.
engines work (as near as I could tell with my limited testing)
I kinda like the fact they don't go back to the "off" position when you shut them off
pneumatic gen's don't seem to work (I think you mentioned this)
can't really do too much testing due to comp issues.....I really wish I could find out why my NB likes to go nuclear (heat wise) when I try to do anything more than simple stuff.
I'll fix the cape issue in the next update. Yeah, as you said, I think I already mentioned that. :\ Sucks for you, I wish I could help.
