Cables are invisible

I'm running IC2 2.2.764-experimental with listed mods:

I don't have any resource packs or shader mods.

yet cables are invisible like this:

what am I doing wrong?

Bug was caused by 3DBlocks mod which makes grass, minecart tracks and flowers 3D objects. By removing this mod, I managed to get rid of this issue. Topic to be locked, thanks.
