The reason this is confusing is because Ic2 Recipes got added AFTER your Recipe got added, which is kinda stupid of them… -

There is more protection against that in the latest update of Advanced Solar Panels, still not entirely sure of the cause though. Most likely config related so I'd keep an eye out in the logs for anything unexpected.

There is Tech Reborn that is a mix of IC/ old GT and works with Forge power...
IC2 is one the most stable and polished mods out there. Sure I like to see more features over time but then again those features more suited for addons, etc...… -
