Problem with canning food

Sorry not sure if this belongs here or in the bug tracker. Looked on the bug tracker for this issue but it seems that it hasnt been brought up so I thought it may just be me being an idiot. I was wondering if anyone else has had any trouble getting canned food?

I've built the fluid/solid canning machine but can't seem to get it to can my food. I'm able to get everything else (was able to create some coolant the other day), but when I try canning it just fails.

When the food is in the food box I am unable to add the empty tin can to the cell box.

But if I take the food out I am able to put the empty tin can in, but now I can't put the food in.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks!

This looks weird. Can you try to put more empty tin cans into the first slot and then try to put food into the second one?

Also what version are you using?

Welp turns out I'm an idiot haha. Added a few more cans and it worked. I think it just needed a minimum number of cans for one stack of food. Thanks a lot though!
