A row of thermal monitors? how's that possible?
btw, i love your information panel. Instead of using digital thermometer, i can now look the heat produced by the reactor on the monitor.

Remote Thermal monitors shouldn't be attached to reactor. And with range upgrades thay can be far enough from reactor. So you can build them in a row if you want.
where the coordinates are stored?
I believe i found a bug the new reactor Information panels only seem to work when there in the same chunk as the linked reactor.
EDIT: Nevermind i did not know there were range upgrades
where the coordinates are stored?
As far as I know, coordinates of tile entities are stored in NBTTags.
P.S. My knowledge is only about vanilla minecraft. Have never seen sources of bukkit.
on my Local Server works without problems

I tested your world. The problem is in the compatibility with Multiverse-Core-2.4.jar plugin. All works fine without it.
Even more, I replaced your version by 2.4-AB as "Latest Awesome Build", downloaded from dev.bukkit.org and thermal monitors oriented in proper direction.
So, not a bug =)

it´s poosible you can compatible with Multi verse
It's already compatible with latest stable build, avaliable on this page http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/multiverse-core/
Compatibility with dev builds of all mods is not my goal.

Hello,
as of part of your excellent mod, would you consider adding a feature so we could stop the COOLING of a reactor?
Hello,

You can use thermal monitors + not gate. So it will emit a redstone signal when reactor is cooler then specified heat level. You can use this signal to stop cooling.
Whenever I try to place a thermal monitor next to a reactor, it starts at 500 for the temperature, but even if I increase it to 2000 or what not, it still activates and sends a redstone signal whenever the reactor reaches 500.
I can test it by letting my reactor get above 500 temp, placing a monitor down, and then setting the temp higher than what the current core is at. Obviously it turns red since it starts at 500, but it stays red even if the temperature is set above the actual current temperature.
is this a bug?

Can't reproduce.
Please note that in Thermal Monitor GUI you should press "Save settings" button to apply settings, not just Esc key like in most GUIs.

Yes, that's true. But,
QuoteYou can use this signal to stop cooling.
How, without mod "Redpower 2"?
That's why i was asking about your mod. It can be considered "part of Nuclear controlling" to be able to stop the cooling of a reactor - whatever the cost could be. So, asking if you could add a way to do it, or not.
How, without mod "Redpower 2"?
Not gate can be created with redstone torch - minecraft wiki.
External water can be turned off with piston.
Ice cooling with BC pipes can be turned off by removig redstone signal from engines.
I don't know what type of cooling can't be turned off with redstone signal.
