I have been trying everything to enable the ability to craft nukes. Is it even possible on a vanilla server? I edited everything I could in the config file and still can't do it. I know the recipe is correct too. I have the most recent version of IC2. Please help. Thanks

If you are using IC² experimental that may be your problem.
IC² experimental is overhauling almost everything, so its recipe may have changed, alongside its functions.

No its not the experimental version. I tried it and didn't like that version. It's IC2 version 1.118.401. Can anyone think of anything else I might be missing other than changing the config? I enabled crafting of nukes and disabled the hiding of secret recipes options. Those were the only two i could find.

Do you have NEI? (Not Enough Items, by Chickenbones)
You can check its recipe with it.

    GregTech also changes nuke recipe.

I do have NEI but unfortunately there isn't a plugin released yet for it to be able to view IC2 recipes. So that doesn't work either. I don't use greg tech either. Thanks for quick responses though.

Well... what you can do is to cheat a nuke in and delete the components you think is fair for one.
Also, i don't recommend upgrading to IC² exp, its way unstable atm.

Ya that's what I've been doing. I figured I'd ask and see if anyone knew what to do. I also agree about IC2 exp, it had way too many changes also and I don't like that big of a change. Anyways thanks for the help. Maybe somewhere down the future someone may figure this out. Or when the plugin comes out for NEi I can check the recipe.

I meant a normal minecraft server, not bukit or etc. And yes my server is modded as well.

By the way I resolved my problem. Apparently I didn't get the news that the recipe for the nuke has changed to what was originally the GregTech recipe as seen here. I thought it was the uranium ingots and gunpowder method. Although it is now much more difficult to produce I'm at least glad I found it. Sorry, I probably should have said in my first post the recipe I was using. Then maybe someone could have directed me quicker. Thanks for all the help replies though.
