Since I, personally, don't know, i can just suggest you to go on creative ssp and play around with the jetpack and filled can fuels using the new canning machines.

I am admin in my server... i fit the jetpack in all machines.... try right click, try add the fuel via craft guide....
I can only imagin that it isnt finished yet
or they forgot it
