I saw the same thing with no other ic2 related mods installed (in fact, nothing that changes recipies) so it seems to me like a bug. Should look at reporting it through the bugtracker

Any news on a fix? in 1.107.35lf this is still bugged. With the change in how reactors work I'm trying to use an EU storage redstone output to turn the reactor on and off. From what I can tell it updates the redtone on/off status if the redstone wire is physically changed (adding/removing a piece of redstone), but left to it's own devices it just sticks on whatever mode it was when placed.
