By using EV are you producing more EU? Or just sending them in bigger packets?

Could you show how you wired the solar panels? From the picture it would seem only one feeds the MFE.

How many solar panels are feeding those MFEs? Maybe they didn't charge up enough (to 128 EU) in a short time.
Double check the output faces.about 5 solar panels. the brown spots on the mfe's are facing away from the solar panels. and the 3 dots on the low voltage transformer is facing toward the solar panels.
