Make sure too you're using the 1.4.6 latest version, not the 1.4.7pre ones. The Forge forum is only updated (I think) when a major update/feature gets pushed, aka 1.3.2 --> 1.4.2, or a major bug gets fixed.
Display Morei tried to use the latest IC² addon in multiplayer.
first we tried via installing the addon on both PCs (my friends and mine) and then open it to lan and try to connect.

after trying to install IC² to a dedicated server, the server started well, loading IC² but after trying to connect it drops the exact same error as before.
any idea what this causes? is this a bug of IC² (still being beta) or are we doing sth. stupid?

Oh, my. Are your configs exactly the same? Is this a new world, or an existing world? Are you upgrading from a previous IC2 version?
Question 1: Can't discern what you're exactly asking, but the IDs may change from time to time. I know for a fact Buildcraft item IDs changed from 3.2.1 --> 3.2.2. HOWEVER, IC2 shouldn't be able to overwrite the old cfg from 1.3.2, so I don't know what's happening there. You *could* try deleting your ic2.cfg and seeing if that works.
If you don't want stuff to disappear, change the ic2.cfg values to the ic2_map.cfg values (I can't tell if you did or not). That should answer Questions 2 and 3.

nuttyprot There are more recent versions, but 1.112.xxx is the latest Beta release. It should work.
@HWDexperte Anyway, Player has a Jenkins page that has the latest-latest releases (as in not-released, even as beta yet). You might want to check that out.

I don't understand why Tekkit don't use this Pre-Release for the Tekkit 1.4.6-Release ... All Mods are releases (in my opinion) and only IC isnÄt implemented ....

If you're asking what the error means, it's a totally meaningless warning. It merely is telling you that a generator/Energy block (like the MFSU) is in an unloaded chunk, therefore it cannot output energy.

...or you could delete your BC config, which will allow BC to make the *new* one, which moves the item IDs out of IC2 range.

Wrong...blockCable in your IC2 map has ID value 228, while your ic2.config has value 4076. Change one to match the other.
However, you *do* have Buildcraft errors in there too.
About the source code-I don't believe so, RichardG/Alblaka/Player/other devs are discussing that.
People make custom patches by first deobfuscating the code using MCP (I believe, not sure).

Basically, a totally useless warning that tells you a machine wants to emit energy but it can't since it's in an unloaded chunk. Ignore it, or place a chunkloader next to it.
Nothing to do with IC2, has to do with the forum in general. It's called smart spambots.
