You all downloaded corrupted jar files, the server tends to abort the transfer sometimes. Try downloading from http://player.to/ic2_20111003_…alcraft-2-client_1.15.jar
Oh my lord thank you so much! The wiki has a corrupted .jar file then, because that's where I downloaded my jar from. Thanks so much, I can now enjoy IC2 
Yeah mine goes to the Mojang sign, stays at that sign for a couple of seconds. Then crashes. I'm happy to know that I'm not the only person with this problem though :DD
Hello everyone, I've been trying for a couple days now to get Industrial Craft working. I'm not sure what the problem is. I've followed many different sets of instuctions and something is still going wrong.
Problem: Minecraft keep crashing.
Version: SSP v1.15

The latest set of instructions I've followed are from:

I did everything in order with an entirely new ".minecraft" folder and checked if Minecraft worked after every step. MC would launch and work until I added IC2. Upon adding IC2 I would crash and get a report.
