I think there are still glitches in Minecraft's handling of water and explosions that can be exploited to easily make an explosion proof container. Until Al slips a fix in and blows up everyone's reactors

I would like to add my thanks to the IC team, and to the teams who have made all the mods on which IC relies.

4 layers of reinforced stone will stop any meltdown from making a nice crater.
Or use the fact that water source blocks blunt explosions + obsidian.

The most efficient basic stable design produces at 35 eU/t; 7million eU over the 3 fuel cell lifetime. This should be roughly comparable to an early-mid Gen-I nuke from RL. The very first commercial fission reactors ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_Reactor ) seem to all be in the neighborhood of producing 50-200 MW/H. Our reactors produce about 1/1000th that.
Even the crazy CARUC reactors can only come within spitting distance at 2.3MW/H (for a 640eU/t).
My only thought on that would be that IC reactors are physically very small compared to their real world counterparts. If you factor in their output per m^3 it would probably be closer. But there are a ton of variables to work with to figure that one out.

A miner hit an underground cable (glass fibre) while digging horizontally to a coal deposit (and later an iron deposit) and did the following:
Put the cable in the chest adjacent to the miner (normal)
Put the drill from the miner in the chest
Put all the mining pipe in the chest. This all occurred very quickly.
Other mods installed BC current version. None of the BC resources will in the area of the glitch.

FYI, the items can still be extracted from the bottom.
-
Confirmed that the matter generator only can have the UUM extracted from the bottom as of the latest patch.

OK, you get the spider pattern from how Notch does his explosion mechanics*...
But where did the square in the center come from? That looks pretty regular. What was the reactor like before?

If this is so then albalaka must have done a ton of work to make it so
did you generate the seeds with IC2 on? or are you just playing with IC2 after generating the seed? The only part that Albalaka has changed is the ore/cave generation, which is the last pass of the terrain generator. Your topography will be the same, but your ores probably won't be.

I've noted that HV pulses cause the cables to occasionally emit the redstone particles. I assume your plant is causing that en-masse.

Trial and error had me put it next to minecraft_server.jar.
-
Where do I put the Industrialcraftconfig.txt file for SMP? Does it work at all?
-
Or he could just calculate the percentage server-side and send the percentage to the client for display. Actual EU would not be displayed.

I would be happy to email* the minecraft.jar that is still 1.6.6 and IC if needed. I kept independent copies in case I ever updated by accident (which I did).
*Unless there is any copyright or similar problems that other people know of. I can't think of any.
