As you said, what IC needs is something industrially cool to play with, like vehicles, planes, industrial weapons (i'm looking at you industrial conflict) and whatever fancy thing we may want, for the sake of fun, not utility.

But seriously, ic2-style vehicles would be cool. Because, well, Flan's mod vehicles are just things with models that slide across the ground/float in the air.

By the way, here comes a suggestion to keep whiners at their place :
Rework the config.
Add a section called "Changed Stuff", with several configs to revert all possible changes.
Config : "Realistic Industry" , if set to false revert all changes back to IC² style, with no plate bending, no extra processing/assembling, no nerfs.

Got it:

So i just started messing around with IC2 in FTB, and i noticed that
they were using different ores for copper/tin gen. well, being that i
like everything perfect, i decided to change the config to generate IC2
copper/tin instead (and a bunch of other changes, but i tested alittle
and figured out it was IC2's config).
Upon doing this and loading up Minecraft to make a new world and play, it crashes. Help?
