If you're using IC2 1.111, update to 1.112 beta for 1.4.6/7 (found at the top of this sub-forum).
Also, DO NOT delete the META-INF folder inside Forge.

sweet thanks solved my problem

The title really says it all. i have followed installation instructions, and as i log into minecraft all i see is MOJANG and then a black screen that doesnt go away. Any help would be massively appreciated
