Just add all the power suppliers outputs together and if that number exceeds the 32 EU/t it will blow up a bat box.
So 33 Solar panels connected to bat box (assuming no cable losses occur) will blow up bat box when they start producing. (32 solars are fine)
I was running a generator to one face of a batbox and 5 solar panels to the top. The batbox never exploded but some of my machines did.
I'm still lost on multiple power sources, can we get an explanation on how we should be setting up generator, bat boxes and solar panels without exploding machines
I hope this changes, it's really confusing. I also cannot believe the amount of negativity I got when I suggested an RTG, and now it's in game! Does anyone know any details on building it?
Is this a bug or the intended behavior from now on? I having a lot of difficulty with the new build just trying to simple things like power the machines here and even with nei I can't figure out how to build a wrench
Can I pass them both thru a low voltage transformer?
I have 4 machines next to each other in a row, a generator, macerator,electric furnace and extractor.
All 4 are connected behind by copper cable, at the end of the cable on the generator side is a batbox. This ran fine until I added a solar panel to the top of the batbox, then the last machine, the extractor exploded!
I'm sure I'm missing a change that was made, but what do I need to do to keep my machines from exploding?
Could you post a link to version 1.115.208, I'm having trouble finding it, I found the open beta for 1.4.7 In the support forum but it shows version 1.115.207.
I'm new and I'm sure I must be just missing it somewhere.
