I get that too, greg says its lag but i don't believe him.
Well since I dont have any lag either, its hard to believe too. And I have the feeling its just on some machines, I have it too, on Assembling Machines when they take a long time to process (over 10 minutes) or the Plate Bending Machines. All other work fine for me I think (at least I havent seen any of his other automatic machines derp like that)
€: I happen to overclock these machines, do you overclock them too?
Is it just me, or are Automatic Machines getting stuck every now and then? I know its supposed to be an anti-lag feature, but I am kinda "waiting" for 15 minutes for my Copper Plates. It seems to me, while watching it, that it tries to move the item from output 1 to output 2 and output 2 ejected. If output 2 doesnt eject, it get stuck. the "only" way to solve it is either take the stuff out manually (which I doubt is intended) or input over 2 stacks of ingredience into it, so it "overflows" the output slots.
Use an undamaged wrench in the recipe, it works over here.
I did, remade the recipe 4 times and still and if you had read it, you would know I know how to setup such recipes (assemblies and wrathlamps work the same -.-)
- AppliedEnergistics has Problems crafting your new Machine-Block with the new Wrenches. Wrath Lamps and AE Assemblies work fine though.
- ForgeDict Machines still cause problems
- Machines from you, can be build from recipes which are not obtainable with standard config (how should I get a compressor if deactivated?)
Is it intended that for example Automatic Machines as the Automatic Recycler can be build of themselfs again?
Automatic Recycler = Automatic Recycler + Conveyor Belt
The reason I ask, is that its a huge problem with AE, since it uses Forge Dict to craft its items.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8820482/oredict.png just to clarify with an example
Played a little bit with the Heat Vents as Covers, since they add progress. So I looked into the code and just found that some add 1, 2 or 3 progress, but which one does what?
I assume that the Advanced is adding 3
and the Overclocked adding 2?
what about the others?
It already works that way, you might need to update.
wow tested it just recently (with maybe 3.05 or 3.06) and it didnt work. Thank you sir It works now even with the newer dev versions of AE
Could you add that Conveyor Belts act like automatic Machines? At the moment you cannot insert stuff through covers, but you cannot automate for example IElectrolyzers with conveyor belt with just 1 ME Interface, but with automatic Machines like AFurnace, Assembly Machine etc you can.
* MC 1.5.2
* Forge 703
* GT GregTech 3.06b
* Railcraft 188.8.131.52
I get Railcraft Steel Plates when I insert Steel into your Plate Bender. Any way to change it?
€: ok I assume you have to change
Do you know whether your world generation ores are compatible with Biomes O'Plenty? (http://www.minecraftforum.net/…ew-blocks-items-and-more/)
They are, created a fresh world and had everything I needed in it.

MineFactory Reloaded added new Ingots to the Dictionary.
You probably have the Reactor set up on Chunk Boundaries, that might be the Problem.
So all of the Fusion Reactor has to be in a single chunk?
Mine is just cut in "half" on the right side of the material injectors
€: nope just checked in a new world. build it completely on a single chunk. After I reload my world, after the Fusion Reactor has used up the 40kk, it was shut down.
The MJ Upgrade is working on every energy consuming Machine properly. The Buffer DOES consume Energy so its very logical to let it also consume MJ. And it is intended for the Machines to neither emit Steam nor Michael Jacksons, see Book about GregTech Energy Systems.
ok. this makes sense.
Is it intended, that I have to re-inject 40.000.000 EU into the fusion reactor after I reload my world (in SSP)? I always thought you just have to start it once with 40.000.000 EU and then insert 4048 EU to keep it running, but everytime I restart my world, I have to re-inject it
All devices have 3 buffers for energy (MJ, EU, Steam). EU buffer is empty, so why Small Buffer should emit EU?
Why else should you be able to apply a MJ Module on the buffer, if it only
- emits EU only
- emits only if its connected to the E-Net, even though it _has_ EU stored (dunno, maybe some IC2 mechanics)
Apparently the MJ Module doesnt work on the Fusion Reactor too. So it really needs 4048EU/t to keep running.
I found an unexpected behaviours with buffers in addition with MF modules in your most recent version of GT 3.04e. Havent tested it with earlier versions.
- I applied a MJ Module on a Small Buffer
- I stored MJ
- Its set on Emit Energy
- but it doesnt emit MJ or EU
- is this intended?
