Robots would not naturally fit into the normal world of minecraft IMHO.
Neither are nano suits and reactors. 
But I do like your idea but would rather not get another worthless nether, just add more to the normal world.

Basically a high tech form of enemy for the game. Something more than just creepers and zombies to kill with your new nanosaber or laser. Something that might have a mining laser or even be able to jump with a jet pack.(this isn't final on what they have, could be overpowered, just giving out ideas)

Working on getting another video out today, got my computer built. So release this weekend? Was hoping SMP didn't have to wait due to IR will be dead due to it. Plus people are kinda doing nothing for the most part as they wait for the map reset on IR. Skyscraper time. SMP > SSP, no I'm not biased. lol

It all depends on quality. If you promote shitty hosting, then there may be a problem. I noticed them pop up once they worked the same deal with spacetoad this past week or so. Haven't heard anything else about them though.
Long as it's not multiplay; I say sure, why not. Long as I get to keep doing IR without you poaching members. lol

Suggestion name: Battle Bots
Think of robot wars or whatever that show is. People build these deadly robots and then make them fight until one dies and is crown the winner.
You could make it like the clay solider mod.

You don't actually control the bots, you just place them and equip them with weapons/armor etc to be stronger.

I think it was a good idea, no harm in sending out some emails. Telling people to come here to post on a topic if they got it also could have worked, that or explaining why you sent it in the email itself.

Click the image to see it better. It's set to like 50-60% width and changed some of the colors to look better on the eyes. Makes the mini profiles so much easier to read as well.

I'd least change the light gray to the dark gray like you already have. Then get some free folder icons so it's easier to tell when there is a new post on that board. Then give it a fixed width.

I ran Endless Rage as well but host issues and time constraints sent that one into relapse until I have time to work on it. I've also ran several forums, League of Legends team leader and I like to do youtube videos. Halfway done with my Web Graphics Design degree. I've also been engaged to a smokin chick but crazy mothers ruined it.Oh and I like tits and booze.
