Wait...what other mods do you have installed?
Industrialcraft doesn't have those different ores you mentioned.

I'm not sure myself, but from what I know, enderman only pick up blocks that they are allowed to.
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Enderman#Moving_blocksUnless Abllaka added in code that said enderman can pick up solar panels, or other IC2 blocks, they should not pick them up.
Now in the pre-release of 1.8, enderman were allowed to pick up any block, even bedrock.

Awesome mod man!
Just to let you know though, my friend has a server, and he isn't sure about the 2.5:1 energy ratio.
Is there any chance you could eventually add in a config file that allows us to change the ratio to what we like? Cuz each server is a bit different.
Maybe worry about this after SMP gets going, but I greatly appreciate it if we could get a config file. -

So Elo did not work on the technich pack? Then who made the interconnections between the mods in that super pack? Was that all by cake eater whatever?
Well the technic pack, while an all in one, was not seamless.
If you were to go out and install each and every single mod, and play, it would be no different from the technic pack.
What I mean by seamless, is that everything works together without any overlaps.
For example, only one copper ore as opposed to the 2 copper ores, one for IC and one for Elo's mods)
Or the two rubber trees from IC and Elo's mods. There are a few other examples, but you get the picture.Alblaka:
I personally like your electrochips better. While Elo is brilliant and I'll definitely have to try out her CPU stuff, your seems more straight forward and practical.
As Shadowclaimer mentioned, I also respect you and spacetoad for working together to prevent in mass overlap, and I can't wait till there are more addons that allow the crossover between some of Minecraft's best mods. Some day, I dream of finally getting into Minecraft coding, and make awesome mods like you. -
Gonna have to agree there.
It's annoying that there is so much overlap, and if Eloraam continues working (which I hold no objection to aside from overlapping), then IC, BC, and Eloraam's mods will all be competing for the same group of gamers. Meaning the only way to avoid overlap is, if Forge figures out how to integrate all the different aspects of the mod seamlessly (IE only one copper ore as opposed to the IC and Eloraam one) or combine IC, BC and Eloraam's mods all into one seamless super mod. -
Did you instal the crash hotfix?

Or they could just destroy the walls
But on assuming you have a way to keep the walls from being destroyed, I suppose it would be nice. -
Step 1: Throw out macbook
Step 2: Buy PCThere, the lagg is gone now (Just joking of course)
But ya, I've been having issues with lagg spikes as well. Reinstalled a few times, and the lagg is still there. -
On the SMP server I play on I've found plenty of redstone and some diamonds. It might seem that diamonds are "rarer", but then again that is up to subjectivity.

I like the idea, just need to make sure it's balanced. I mean, you get both power and a building material from one block.
-
THIS!!! You do not know how much stuff I have blown up because of my carelessness.
Fuses would be extremely useful. -
Hmm, interesting. An all in one, bundled into one block.
However, it would need to be a fairly expensive recipe, costing more than all the individual components summed. (IE Advanced Circuits, another advanced machine part, etc.) Personally I would love the idea, as setting up the miner at a different location is a pain due to all the different components. At the same time though, is that even possible code wise? I admit I am no coder, but such a device would require both a GUI for the chest, one energy levels, and a slot for the generator-all in one block! That is a lot of stuff to fit on to one block, and I question just how viable it is codewise.

Uhh direwolf, awesome videos man, but you are sorta cluttering the forums with all these separate threads.
Mind just making one main thread? ("Direwofl's Youtube Tutorials") and just posting all the videos there? -
YO DAWG, we heard you liked computers, so we put a computer in your computer, so you can compute while you compute!!
On a more serious note:
If the electro chips go so far as to become mini computers (IE CPU's, GPU's etc.), that would be amazing!
Course though, Alblaka is free to do as he wishes. -
I believe how it works is....
If there are no ores horizontal to the lowest mining pipe, it will mine one layer down.
If there are ores that are horizontal to that pipe and within a 9x9 (or 5x5 for OD scanner), then it will mine out those ores.
Once all the ores are mined at that level, it will mine one layer down and continue the cycle until it hits bedrock.Anything except for ores, and other stuff that blocks the path to the ores, will not be mined. Meaning that except for the little bit of cobblestone that is in the way of the miner, it will mine practically no cobblestone.

Odd...Could've sworn I changed the link to the 2 less chamber one:

But even two less than that you say? Hmm -
Did you put a chest by the pump?
-
Well, after figuring out how reactors work, I finally made my own reactor.
It's a mark 1-1 with a 2.33 efficiency. It generates 35 EU/thttp://test.vendaria.net/index.php?reactor=4XXCXCXXCHCHCXCCUCXCHHUHCXCCUCXXCHCHCXXXXCXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Any comments/criticisms/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
