You managed to mess up the ID's, exchanging previous GeoThermals with SolarPanels. That's the reason you do never alter ID's on an already exisiting world.

Yes, apparently the sound system was "tested and designed" on a super high-end PC environment and usually is causing lag to "weak" PC's.
Player is working on it.

As well, you can only mute IC² sounds by using the config. Which should be fixed soon, as well.

I'm sorry, but without a crash report we can barely do anything, as there are infinite possible causes for a crash.
