is direct modification of class files allowed?
It is, though ill-advised.

Hi,
I made some personal safes because I wanted to test them (and because they are basically 1x1x1 doublechests) and I opened each of them (about 6).
Now after some days I can't open 2 of them anymore (most likely the ones with items in it, but I'm not sure if it's limited to those). And I also remember that the ic1 personal chests had some similar issues.
Are you playing in offline mode / without account?
So, is it "No"? ^__^
Factories - is not the only usage of the fast grinder... For example - coal macerating is very slow process. And usually you need a lot of coal dust. Also, AFAIR, now macerator can't generate dusts as fast as basic electric furnace can smelt them...
Get 3 Macerators :3 then they can keep up the speed with an ElecFurnace.
1. A device using Energy to provide cooling is probably ineffective, as you cannot add 5 EU output within the generator whilst producing less then 2 heat.
2. The "cannot be placed next to more then one Reactor (Chamber)" rule would prevent you from placing the pump on a 6-chamber reactor, at all :3 Think 3D and you know why.
If you don't want the sounds, delete the ic2 sound folder after instalation. Audiomod works fine when you take away it's targetted files
Or one just doesn't install the sound files to begin with XD
I don't think the IFurnace does well in factorys, as it's either too slow or too fast, compared to any machine. Rather go with
-Electric Furnaces
-Store the dusts/ores and smelt them in IFurnace in one go, manually triggered
It took just as long to mine diamond as it took to mine stone or even iron ore
That's not exactly what i ned to know:
Does a discharged Drill mine any faster then by-hands?
At least, the recipes aren't in there yet. Not sure though.
You're meant to tell this to me :O
This is a quite generic armor bug
Taking too much damage while having a high-damaged armor item can cause it to become "0x ArmorItem" with full hp again.
It will be added together with SMP-Support.
No.
Not gonna copy BTW, exspecially as i personally dislike the whole "mechnical power" idea.
It's meant for PvP Servers, as it deals extreme damage against NanoSuits (and QuantumSuits). Imho it would have been to imba to give it a onehitkill, as you could just RMB,LMB,RMB kill any mob without much energy used.
If an empty diamond drill is used to break a block, it will still drop the item, even if it is diamond ore (I havent found obsidian yet). all ores also mine at the same speed.
This might also work with a mining drill, but I haven't tested it.
A diamond drill also does not completely drain the battery.
I'm not sure if either of these are a bug or not.
@1: If it took LONG to mine the ores/stones, it's not a bug.
@2: Sometimes the battery has 99.5% charge left (these values are approximately and only to explain the matter) . If you then charge the MiningDrill with 1% per tick, the battery will end up sitting on 0.5%, being nearly empty, but not entirely empty, yet incapable of charging something. Couldn't yet find a proper fix for this.
Hmmm... that's interesting.
Shouldn't be happening, i'm just using Minecrafts Vanilla Tool Code for the cutter functionality
I have been told that the scrap boxes were actually added to (i believe v1.0) last night
So fear not our (s)crap boxes will be back soon!!
Are added
Just a hint:
Insert 8 plates into the Reactor, bam, it can tolerate 18000 heat.
WhyTF do you think plating gives 1000 hull durability to the reactor? It solely awards 250 (in 1.0)
Good argument. Guess i will have to code color into machines then, hmmm...
Hm...
I recently (installed today >_<) found a mod called RedPower, it was actually in KillerBeez teaser video if i am not mistaken. In that mod there's those partial bloc part, whit those you can hide wire or use them only for esthetic purpose. It seems ratter complicated how you can place it to any number of face of the same cube you want, so i wonder, would that be possible whit the cable too, or the fact that current pass in them make it so they need to be "full" bloc ?
Correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think there"s any way to hide a cable in the current version.
EDIT : Having this made possible would really up the fun by a damn lot !!!! Cable blocking access to the GUI yet letting us see the bloc we want to click is.. ARGH ! (I do, and by a lot, prefer those tiny cable to the ubber big old one, just mentioning XD)
Hmmmm...
This idea would actually be a neat addition and could replace the cable-obfuscation part.
How about some semi-solid cementoplastic clump, which can be formed around cables to create industrial-styled white blocks. One could as well place them as regular wall material and thus make cables "dissappear".
Afaik the maximum would be 4? Diagonal adjacent doesn't count.
The bug wasn't related to Plating, but to HDs.
There was a minor bug in Plating, too, but it didn't had much effect.
