Probably you're sending energy to yourself, but loosing single EUs due to distance loss?
I will check into that.

Btw, glass fibre will melt. IT can only carry 512, the HV will emit 2048.
AS well, it does only emit energy if you actually got a receiver on the other end.
-
The 512 eu current will later use the Glassfiber cables you can currently just get through TMI. So each has its own cable, but are usable downwards.
Edit: To your problem, they currently dont work with a Redstone torch i think. use a Redstone dust (pointing into the transformer) OR a switch ON the transformer (cheapest way).
1. Redstone torch next to a block does NOT power the block, as Gorni said.
2. Recipe for glassfibre is implemented already -

Found the issue. Mistook a getter with a calc method and accidentally caused water to effect players up to 4 times per frame. Fixed in next version.

Read the recipe file.

We have Buildcraft and Industrial Craft there and we spend a lot of time, digging, building and developing it. But oh well we already submitted to the fact that we will have to start over and we decided to make it even better than the old one
That's the spirit
@1.8: If Notch really manages to get 1.8 incompatible to 1.7 maps, he will make loads of foes...

Oh nevermind, I figured it out. You have to use a LV transformer. My question is, then. Why are there 3 transformers?
LVTrans for LV-MV (32 to 128)
MVTrans for MV-HV (128 to 512)
HVTrans for what?HV trans from 512 to 2048 (HV).
HV can solely be taken from and to HV-Transformers, for long-range transmission purpouses. -

For the jetpack, can you make it fall when the button is NOT held down? Not fly while it is held on hover, but fall when it is held down?
For me that sentence doesn't make any sense. Mind reformulating it to make it more simple to understand?
-
Nope, this is fully intended.
Fuel Jetpack: Big storage, high trusting, less additional functions = Meant for long range travel, hover mode is for landing.
Electric Jetpack: Small storage, high forwards speed, intelligent hover mode = Space is up, not space is down, perfect for cave exploration without worrying about fall damage at all.

It glows Green when producing energy or being hot (i think i've set the limit to 3000 or so)
If you just place cables on a reactor, it will not emit energy as it can't find something to emit energy too. You will need to place a batbox (or much rather, a MFE) on the other end of the cable.
MFE is usually sufficient, only extreemly powerful reactors go > 128. -
This is a bit vague for me, can the server be no-whitelist?
And can they have other mods too?Ah, i see i was unclear there
Ofc you can have a public server too.
As long as there is no restriction stated against something, you can assume it to be allowed. I don't see a reason to forbid other mods... Hell, BC+IC is meant to be played that way :O

I've found the Platings eating up heat without limit on some occasions. Was capable of running a 30+ heat reactor without any coolants... heat did not pile up.
Currently debugging to gind the issue.FINDERS, KEEPERS!
Found the issue within the cooler.
It would constantly reset the heat of all surrounding tiles to it's own heat level - a few heat.> Plating heated up > Cooler reset plating > only a fractal of actual heat generated.

yes 100 eu/t
That's correct, at least...
Hate stuff like this to happen... i spend 2 hours on writing a guide and the code just does something else o.o -
How's the output of your reactor? 100Eut?
I found a small typo in the Reactor Code, but nothing capable of causing this sort of bug. Just a minor thing heating up plates too much (Eventually)
-
so the outward cooling (air/water) is only calculated for the reactor block, NOT for the chambers as well?
Yes. Because in redo the chambers award 2 Eut cooling themselves. -
finalsacre is more correct.
However, the reactor on the screen clearly still didn't overheatand judging by the uranium it's already beyonfd 37%.
I wouldn't mind if the reactor is slightly off,but this is clearly too much.
