It's a legit suggestion in regards to keeping the ingot-naming constant and reliable.
Btw, you can edit the lang-file and alter the names of any item either way

You and me both. Color me paranoid but I don't really like idea of a third party launcher.
He referred to batch files he wrote himself.
Actually it's not THAT hard to rename folders and call the right minecraft.exe...
If you want griefer armor, ask me to implement an armor with invisible skin which explodes like a nuke upon taiking damage.
"BANZAI" Armor.
Hmmm... Dropbox != aka Mediafire = random filehost?
Well... Sorry :3

The IC²-Developement team proudly presents:
Industrial Craft ²
Version 1.103 SSP/SMP
If you want to support IC²'s developement, or want to thank the team in a more materialistic way, feel free to drop us donations:
Return (String) System.getMostRecentPieceOfValuableInformation();
This is it. IC², the future of IC.
While playing it, you will feel right at home again, rediscovering most of the stuff known from IC. However, once you get your machines running, you will quickly notice how smooth and well-designed everything works now. Wiring is easier, batterys aren't as twosided (on/off) anymore, new cables, rubber stuff, new machines, EVERYTHING was added.
Create obstacle courses of Metal Poles and Rubber-Sheets, explore the Nether with an Electrical Jetpack or blow up whole landscapes at once by using the Dynamite-O-Mote. Or discover the much more complex mechanisms of Nuclear Engineering, blow up your hut or burn your hands. Or grab the rusty ol Composite Vest, and start hunting Creepers with the new, allmighty NanoSaber.
It's up to you, it's MINEcraft after all.
How to install, how to report errors, how to NOT bug the IC² developers:
What do i need to install IndustrialCraft / Prerequisite ?
*This is the RECOMMENDED version. You may use different ones, but in that case bugs may occur.
How to install the Mod itself:
DOWNLOAD
You can (and actually, must) install IC² by dropping the downloaded JAR-file into your mods-folder. If there is none, install Forge and just start-up minecraft once for it to be automatically created. It is located inside your .minecraft directory.
If you get any sort of crashes or errors, consider first reading the FAQ, before bugging the Support section:
If you want to report Bugs; we got a Bug-Section for that purpouse.
If you got questions, considere browsing through the official IC wiki.
Note: It's the official wiki, nontheless coders of IC² are not actively updating it. Any information found/provided there can be incorrect or entirely false.
Or pay the Dev-Team's official YT-PR-Managers a visit:
Yes, you've heard right, now we got two specialists for promoting IC on the web. I'm sure you already heard of and watched
Direwolf20's Youtube Channel.
How to setup your own IC²-Server:
First of all, you'll need to download and setup a normal MC-server. Once that's all working and you tested whether other people can connect, proceed to downloading the necessary components:
*This is the RECOMMENDED version. You may use different ones, but in that case bugs may occur.
Then grab your IC²-server files, HERE.
As with the client, just drop it into the mods-folder of your server directory.
Done
You may now want to start up the server once to generate the config file and then proceed to build awesome Industrial Worlds with your friends.
If you're looking for a server, check out the Server-Section of this forum.
Or just directly grab your reserverd slot on
Industrial Rage
If you want to setup an server but don't got the hardware, consider checking our official hosting service partnership:
IC² now provides are more or less well documented API.
If you're a modder yourself and want to create a mod implementing IC²s features, download THIS file, and add it's contents to your source-setup (MCP ned). By using the provided classes and interfaces you can in this manner create a mod using IC² features without requiring the whole IC² sourcecode.
You can find some sort of more detailed doc at this site.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST, CREDITS
Firstly, we would like to thank the whole MCP team. Without their work, modifying Minecraft would be MUCH more complicated and time-consuming.
Additionally, thanks go to Risugami, Flan and the MCForge team, a big mod like IC² just can't live without all these base-modifications.
As well, i would on this spot thank my developer team personally:
And our third party contributors:

Think I didn't forget anything... now to figure out how to move threads with the new software...
This belongs into the RP realm, in my eyes.
What exactly do you dislike about SMNC except for the friggin annoying microtransactions?
Long rant incoming:
SMNC itself isn't bad, it's a great game. The issue is, they ran it into a wall, like they did with MNC.
Across the whole closed beta period, we (testers) CONSTANTLY told them the matchmaking was crap, the learning curve was to steep (for your average player) and there was X and Y in need to be done.
Whilst balance issues usually got fixed ~2 weeks after they showed up (in a casual ISSUE-WAIT-OVERNERF-REBUFF-NERF pattern), the important issues (matchmaking, tutorials, anything) were left out.
Suddenly the game jumped to "Invitational" aka Open Beta, STILL with no matchmaking. There was a large influx of new players due to Steam advertisment (~20k) and within A SINGLE WEEK, the number returned to 5k again, new players raging at the broken teambalances ETC.
Currently, you will, in prime times, find 500 players online. Occasionally a few 100 more on a patch-day.
Combined with the still sub-par matchmaking, it takes LONG for games to find. As a result, people started to monopolize the regions, aka everyone is exclusively queuing US:E now... which results in 100-300 pings... which again literally f with SMNC's "shaky" Netcode.
It's exactly the same thing that happened to MNC as well. Crappy marketing, too many colorful-useless features and a total oversight in regards to teambalance/matchmaking.
Of course, it is possible to have fun, but I, f.e., simply can't play a game like SMNC with pings of 120+ (loosing grapple-duels all-day, getting stuck on ledges, occasionally warping around, etc). Unless I manage to organize a Custom-set-up game... SMNC isn't really playable anymore.
If you got some time, you could browse through the Uber forum. Somewhen 3-5 months ago, I've predicted quite THIS outcome, stating they would ruin SMNC if they wouldn't priorize those aspects important to new players.
Assuming TA = Total Annilation
Yep, neat game. Though I've only played the Spring Remake of TA
Well it's never happened to me, I ran a search of luminator on both the bug and support sections, went through all of the results, and failed to find anything similar to this bug so I assumed that it was probably a Tekkit problem
Please think twice before you randomly flame somebody in the near future. This isn't a bug, but a FEATURE mentioned by myself multiple times and recorded in the wiki.
Lumis on Cables ALWAYS take on a "full" texture, because it usually sucks to see the cables behind them. Using CF-covered cables will cause the luminators to stick to their normal behavior.
Vehicles were denied already. The only vehicle ever to be in IC/IC² was the electric minecart which was buggy and not available without cheating. It was in IC.
Btw, ElecCart is eventually coming back, Richard already contacted Railcraft in this regard. We were discussing whether to put the EnergyStorage carts in IC or RC, though.
Well, after Uber managed to mess up SMNC as well (All beta's kept telling them the same thing, they ignored it, and now SMNC is barely better off then MNC, only kept alive by the regular players), my support for them isn't exactly on a high level. And given the quality and depth of their other side-projects (SmashMNC, Moon Brakers)... well... I don't exspect much of this, either.
But let's see how things turn out.
Since around 1.5 Beta, Zombies have 50% more health then other mobs.
Thanks a lot. Didn't find the thread telling this.
Well, I don't find a thread telling you to install ModLoader, either
I use EE once in a while, start a new world, and then get bored 25 minutes later when all my roads are paved with diamond blocks.
What, did you think incompatibility was a feature? Who are you, FlowerChild? Wait, FlowerChild is actually sane.
People are taking my words to literally...
Will you implement an armor with invisible skin which explodes like a nuke upon taking damage? It could be called Banzai Armor
Quote from Me<Alblaka>I'm officially back and online *puts on sunglasses*
<Alblaka>*puts down sunglasses*
<Alblaka>You know, sunglasses REALLY don't work in dimly lit rooms -.-
Math fail is strong with this one.
Quote from NewbieOne solar panel generates 1 EU/t, i.e. 1/20 EU/s == .05 EU/s.
AFAIK API reqire MCP decompilated MC and IC2 core as library added to workspace.
You know, the only use of API's is exactly to DEFEAT the requirement of having the decompiled core files...
Display Morebug.
crops dont know about skylight...
EVERY vanilla crop check for skylight first, but crops check only block light completely ignoring skylight map.
EXTREMELLY annoyning when all your wheat die as first night cos this.
Actually they only refuse to grow (and cannot be planted, latter one can be considered a bug), plants don't die because a lack of light.
Well, let's see how many accounts he will create until he realizes nobody shares his oppinion
PS: Actually I was intending to write up a small post today, but now I pretty much feel inclined not to do so. Otherwise our dear wannabee would probably assume I've bowed to his whim.
Well, humanity never stops amusing me :3
