Now, that was the only trivial installation step you didn't mention
Another idea: Did you unpack the IC2.jar?

I thought it was a bukkit only bug, I couldn't reproduce on vanilla, in which case, we would just have to release and see how bukkit port goes...
Version number changed. > ModLoaderMP denies to connect people with older versions > everyone needs to update.
Aside from the hotfix 1.43 version update everything here /looks/ OK. If it isn't working you probably forgot to install modloadermp (it's required, even for single-player mode).

Your argument is invalid.
@OP: Did you eventually try to UNPACK/EXTRACT the jar instead of just putting it into the mods folder?
Somebody please test this, don't want to throw out a new version which potentially does nothing, forcing people to update server+client again.
QuoteIC2 files
Did you meant to say "IC2 file"? Because IC² consists of a single jar.
Since you again only referred to the Guide (instead of, as i asked you to "how about you manually explain every step you have taken to install the mod"), i still can't point out where you possibly missunderstood something and did an error.
I can't work on it for about 5 hours from the time of this post, fyi.
All you ned to say.
updated the release thread.
Please read my last post.
Again, I can only apologise for not trying copper cables before coming here.
...
Solar Panels arent meant to be crafted with copper cables since 1.337.
Hello, so I installed everything according to the guide, everything in order and in its place.
Apparently you didn't otherwise it would work fine
Would you mind labelling the guide? Eventually it's an outdated one.
As well, how about you manually explain every step you have taken to install the mod, hard to determine an error by "I did everything right, but it doesnt work".
Shall i make a new thread for the release?
edit:Somebody check
https://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page…28558#post28558 ?
Known, fixed.
EDIT: It won't even work on a fresh mc folder. I installed it along with modloader, modloadermp, and forge 1.2.2 and when I tried logging in all I got was a black screen.
Delete META-INF?
Lolz, I guess we're special
Nah, it's just a casual "we access a value of the basefile via reflection"+"Forge modified said basefile" issue. Nothing special cept for the fact we would be supposed to update IC to the new ForgeVersion.
Nope, they decompiled IC's source code via means of MCP.

i try (win7)Codejava -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\*" -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\natives" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft
And see: Bad pocket id 230 when connect to server.
BUT i and server have all mods, installed modload and modloadermp (like this thread https://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page…d&threadID=3388)My modloader.txt

Ah, i get it, the old cmd-trollsyou bug striked again.
You didn't start your actual minecraft.jar, thus one without ModLoaderMP, and got that error.
If you use the cmd command, it will load the FIRST jar-file of your minecraft bin directory. F.e. "Backup minecraft.jar"
Ensure your modified minecraft.jar is the alphabetically first one and try again.
As well, any chance to get the server-sided log?
So do we have a fix for this, or is it a problem with MC, and needs to be handled by the Forge team?
SpaceToad fixed it within his classes, you should probably contact him to get more intel on that issue.
Bad packet id 230
(Re)Install ModLoaderMP
Not in the API, afaik. Doesnt really need to either, it's just a standard explosion. Made a method of it to reduce redundancy.
IIRC, it's the combined rate that hurts you.
Nope, only single-packets are considered, the electrocuting uses the exactly same code as the cable melting.
I think i probably forgot raising the TinCable electrocuting threshhold whilst rising it's max capacity.
I think one thread is entirely sufficient:
