Known issue, related to sounds eating up loads of CPU for calculating sound volume if you are at max hearing distance. Supposedly fixed in 1.3.

From my PoV, FlowerChild dropped Forge because Forge==Eloraam=="Copying BTW stuff". I agree, dropping Forge is definitely the wrong way, but there isn't much else he could do if he wants to boykott RP. And actually that's something i was tinkering with as well, though in a much less drastic manner.
Currently I'm waiting to see how RP evolves, but if Eloraam starts copying more stuff from IC, i will probably follow FCs example in a way to enforce incompatibility with RP. I hope that Eloraam will reconsider her idea of creating "The one-and-only" tech-mod, because that implies rivalling IC and BC per definition. -
IC will move to 1.0 with the next release (after 1.337) most likely.
I can't tell how long porting will take, but given the fact there wasn't a bugfix update for QUITE some time, i would dislike to wait any longer. -
I miss the old drawbridge from medieval craft. Not sure if it would edit base classes, but would love to have it again.
It wouldn't.
Can drop it in as a new machine somewhen later, not a big issue :3 -
A thing most people probably don't know:
FC got pissed off by the fact Eloraam started copying more and more elements of BTW/BC/IC, which is the reason he decided to drop Forge again.
I can fully understand his motions in this regard and even if i don't exactly agree with his reactions (probably influenced by stress) mentioned in the post above, I would like people stopping to consider him THE bad guy in the whole conflict. -

Do you have the 1.8.1 Forge version installed?
Strongly suspect this being the problem.

Oh, yes, i forgot to ask. Alblaka, what is a "Pole-Slide"? I don't see it on the wiki... I found something about an electric ladder here in the forums, but the proposed recipe for it didn't work in-game.

Note: The wiki lacks a vital part there: A player needs to wear metallic boots to be pulled upwards :O

I doubt anyone would pay anything relevant for 10k EU. That's not even 3 pieces of coal.

There is an UUM recipe for bones.
At least in the 1.30, dunno whether it's in 1.23 as well. -
Even if Eloraam apparently doesn't care for the agreement anymore, I will stick to it and not meddle into Redstone Elements.

I actually mentioned the reinforcing 2-3 times already, at least once in the blogpost of the official release and once in the post explaining scaffolds a few days before that release.

Not stressed off, but kinda annoyed by somebody ranting about somebody else's questions while asking crappy ones himself.
And, to yet repeat myself and make it more clear: EVERY sort of mod needs to be updated whenever minecraft receives any sort of major update due to the obfuscation changes.
Even classes exclusively modifying the IC code, because the IC code itself still contains references to MC (duh, otherwise it wouldnt be a mod) which need to be updated as well. The only exception from this rule are MINOR updates, which do not add any new class files and leave most class files untouched. In this case, some mods/addons may not require updating, depending on whether any of the classes they refer to were changed. This did, however, only happen twice in the whole history of MC modding since 1.3, if i remember correctly, and only applied to a few mods on MCF.
PS: Actually i'm not sure, whether I AM eventually a bit stressed... Actually it would be unnatural not to, after working 5 days straight all time on a damn project. Sorry if i'm getting harsh from time to time, but i still dislike people ranting about guy G doing Z while doing Z themselves.

Energy-O-Mat is meant to come back at some point. For the time being, use lapotron + trade-o-mat.

How is tall grass a haxblock? You get it if you hit it with shears.Oh, that's new to me :3 Not using shears much.
Either way, in that case i will answerTall Grass: Use bonemeal + shears

You don't seem to be using the reinforce-scaffold feature?
Rightclick a scaffoldblock (which must be within a "pillar" thus connected to the ground via a straight line of scaffolds) with sticks (takes 2) to reinforce it. You can place up to 4 Scaffolds in a line in every of the 4 directions from a reinforced block, as well as attach new scaffolds to these 4.
