Its impossible to make more fuel than you need. Game mechanics just dont allow for that. Only thing breeding does is essentialy multiplying the amount of uranium cells you get per ore.

Why does a the current HV solar panel have to produce 512eu/tick? It would be better to make them produce 20% less per tier to compensate for the fact it uses less space (and name will have to be changed accordingly).

LOL All I did was plop 4 cells in fill it with coolant cells then start placing plates till nothing melted down.. took a whole minute to design
and here is an eff 4 but will not get you the 120 a tick

nope reactor efficiency is 1 then and the breeder efficiency is max (since having 4 depleted uranium cells around a uran cells is the most you can get). The uranium cell will not make extra eu it only makes more heat thus reactor efficiency stays 1.

Its the same issue with the Oil, we had so much and then i becomes rare and we are struggling to find alternate energy sources. Breeding would be much more efficient, if there was less Uranium, but right now we are swimming in Uranium.
Guess what would happen then? Nobody would use nuclear power anymore. The alternates are already good but nuclear power needs some more stuff like more reactor components and things to automate breeding a bit.

The planner wrongly calculates efficiency when you use depleted uranium cells. The reactor efficiency is only 4.17. Breeder efficiency is based upon the amount of uranium cells used in the proces of recharging depleted cells which clearly isnt maximalised here. You can combine the two to a total efficiency through some maths.

overclockers shouldnt be stackable (atleast not in machines) and adv machines should be added.

1 bucket per sec means 250 cooling per reactor tick max. This is more than enough to easily run a 3+ eff reactor. No point in even trying to design one.

I will switch to the new layout soon if anyone notice anything missing/wrong then tell me (new layout is at bottom of 1th post). If i fix it now it saves me time fixing it for 20 reactors :). I will not do it tomorow because tomorow iam installing my new 16gb memory and 120gb ssd XD

First of all breeding is rewarding. Maths have shown it can increase total efficiency by almost 10 times. But breeding needs so much babysitting i doubt much ppl will really use it. I didnt really used breeding as i get more uranium by spending time on making miners/quarries or just going in a cave so i got chests full of uranium.
There must be some way to automate the proces.

They work fine on foamed cables, so build your walls out of CF and place them on the walls inherting the cables
But then they dont look like those nice lamps you get when you place them on normal walls. It just turns into a panel covering the entire block.

Actualy thats a pretty nice upgrade since now you can also easily put some water buckets or ice in it to cool it manualy (not thats needed when it can run so many cycles but still)

Right-click on the luminator with a battery and the batter will empty its contents into the luminator.
Thanks for letting us know something i already said in the first post.
But that kinda sucks luminators look nice when placed on walls but without a maintenance free way of powering them there isnt much use.

I cant seem to power luminators when i stick them to walls only when i place them directly on a cable it works. Is the only way to power luminators on walls by using batteries?

Why do windgens even break they are supposed to be no babysitting power generators which have quite high buildcosts and require some knowhow to make them work efficienty. So i dont see where 'chance to break' fits in that.
Also with the new height in minecraft 1.2 what will happen? Simply changing it so that 256 height gives same eu as 128 would in fact nerf them (its harder to reach that level + falling at that height means you are dead unless you hit deep water.

But why didnt they made it possible to have 512, 1024 or even endless height? Performance issues because chunks are 16x16 instead of 16x16x16?
