But really, it's a question of which fix you are talking about. Robinton's or mDiyo's.
I do believe that Direwolf is using mDiyo's fix (mDiyo is the author of the InfiTools mod).
I know that Robinton's fix causing some weird bugs, but I do believe that mDiyo's is stable.

That's possible, but will effectively permit people to carry a whole inventory full of carriers.
Unless, the carrier's code specifies that other carriers can not be placed inside when it closes (similar to the EE Alchemical Bag). When the carrier is closed, it spits out any carriers that were placed in there.

Just noticed something with Direwolf's video, it's name Pr!4f; considering that '!' is a boolean operator for 'not,' then I'll assume that perhaps Eloraam has finished Pr5 and she got DW to trick us with this one.

Well direwolf its a beta tester of a lot of mods including IC2 and Redpower. So its no surprise if he has early access to unreleased stuff like frames.
Man you gotta love eloraam, she always comes up with awesome and well coded things. I also love her mostly "No Magic Block" policy.
Exactly so. TBH, when I saw the Frames in DW's video, my heart jumped into my throat and stayed there for a few minutes.
In my opinion, Redpower (barring the other big Forge mods) has got to be one of the most used mods out there. She has such a deep understanding of how the logic gates work, it's borderline insane. When a new release is around the corner, I tend to get giddy quickly... Oh, and some of the gates that DW showcased will help immensely with my nuclear endeavors once IC2 for 1.2.5 is out.

rather bad idea as it's very easily exploitable for infinite stuff.
I don't know if it would be possible code-wise, but I wonder if it would be possible to flag a block as it's mined so that it can't be used to spam for resources? I suppose NBT-tags might be used, but then again, I'm not sure.
I think this might be a good idea, though.

What I wanna know is what is taking Eloraam so long to update Red Power to 1.2.5?? That's like the only mod I'm waiting on, ic2 isn't officially updated to 1.2.5 but there are ways to get it to work.
I support whatever makes the modders lives easier in the long run, and helps get updates out as quick as humanly possible.
Actually the cause of this was talked about on the Redpower thread a little while ago. Apparently, she has run into a nasty bug in the Logic package and would prefer to release Redpower all in one go.

Can anyone say Crit-a-Cola? Soda that gives the ability to do crits without having to jump then attack? Lasts for all of maybe 15 seconds.

Yup... in the PvP case, dynamite is more useful as an anti-bunker weapon more than anything else... only exception I would imagine is if you are dealing with Re. Stone or maybe Obsidian bases... (in which case, tis better to nuke the crap out of them anyway...)

You are most welcome, sir! And if you do end up using Portal Gun, I recommend getting Wireless Redstone as well. A Receiver under a Portal Spawner with the Remote addon for WR really works wonders if you're lost and away from home. If you're lost and at home, how the hell did you get lost!?

I have used Portal Gun + Wireless Redstone in the past and the combo works wonders. I would use it again, but I'm waiting on Chickenbones' WR mod and RP at the moment, I am interested in seeing how Portal Gun works with WRCBE. (What annoys me a bit is that you are limited to the 3 guns (I think it's three, I haven't check the thread in sometime))
Oh, and to be completely honest, I did get lost once in my base (too many hidden passages
).

I could support this easily, but like Al has said, he won't do wireless EU. The only way that this COULD come to fruition is if someone took it upon themselves to create an addon with this mechanic (which I wouldn't be against in the slightest (I'm well aware of the Wireless EU addon by pwnedgod))
I could imagine this using a tesla coil, a freq transmitter, and maybe... something else for the wardenclyffe module. Not sure about the reciever though. I can imagine iridium being used though.

Well, it's not a bad idea per se, but I know that IC2 can add this to the Forge Dictionary so that if it senses that RP2 is installed, it will add this to the game.
But, all in all, it would be the Dev's decision. I'm all for inter-mod connections so long as it doesn't step on any toes (prime example is the IC2-BC Crossover mod).

Update! As far as I can tell, the hard drive itself is intact and just the SATA enclosure was damaged. I've ordered a new one and should be able to upload the mod when it arrives. (Interesting side note, while looking for my DMM to test the circuitry I discovered my roommate was growing cannabis plants in the kitchen cabinet. No wonder our electricity bills are so bad!)

Portal Gun mod. Relatively easy to use, and it gives you a crapton of other things to play with as well. And if you'll check out some of direwolf20's earlier videos in season 3 of his LP, you can see a rather good portal system that he starts to set up.
It may not be early-mid game, but direwolf20 managed to get it by the 5th episode of his LP, I think.Barring that, I'd go for the TF2 Teleporters as suggested earlier.
Thanks. But, I think I've got a few ideas ranging from the portal system in Thaumcraft, the TF2 Teleporters and (maybe) the Portal Gun mod. I'll definitely have to check my block ID's. Thanks guys.

It might be possible to reduce the EU costs by using the snowballs produced from snow golems via the RP2 Block Breakers and feeding those directly to the compressors, and then from there to the buffer then to the reactor.
