What tipped me off slightly to this being an April Fool's joke was the fact that "District" was missing the "t" at the end, and the "charges". (I'm pretty sure that the district thing was a typo)

Well, I know that Jeb and Eloraam have been working together on the spritesheets, and he has also reportedly been working with Robinton with the 4096 Block ID's issue. So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they are collaborating on the API.
Actually I asked a question about this earlier in the week. The only TFBP that can alter the biome is the mushroom TFBP, but the code for it is still flaky and unreliable. I surmised from Richard, it that the biome-altering TFBP's will be added once the kinks are worked out of the Mushroom one.

I'm nearly set to begin work on my new LP featuring a whack ton of mods I like, but I lack one in particular, one that fills the need to span a good distance, so essentially teleportation.
I'm already well aware of the IC2 Teleporter, but I would prefer to be able to afford the ability to teleport by around "early to mid-game."
Any recommendations?

This is kind of exciting, to have Thaumcraft 2.0. I've been waiting for it since he stopped updating last month. I'm kind of disappointed that it isn't SMP yet, but that can wait. I'll just playing SSP until it comes out, and then mod the private server. Can't wait to turn the spawn into a danger zone for the cousins

Yeah... Would be nice if you ran Mushroom and checked how many spots haven't been changed to MushroomIsland. (since 1.2, the biome is shown in the F3 screen below the coordinates as "b:")
I'll give it a shot, I have a junk map I've been needing to delete, I think I found a use for it. I'll report back.
Known and fixed for next hotfix.
Right now only Mushroom does, but it tends to be glitchy (not changing the biome from time to time) - I left it in to get some feedback from the community.
Ah. Okay. I take it that the other's will change the biome once the kinks are worked out of the Mushroom TFBP?
Can the Terraformer blueprints alter the biome given time considering that Anvil stores the biome data alongside the chunk data (if I understand the Mojang change notes correctly)? I have a desert that I really want to convert into a nice big green area for my more... tasteful purposes.

Ha ha ha if there is any mod out there, even one for smuggling cocaine, the only person that could make it look awesome is Direwolf20. I don't know about you but i can't sleep until thaumcraft 2 comes out.

And why would it, redstone is not an IC2 power source
Actually it is, one unit of Redstone provides 200EU, it was taken out accidently by RichardG, but it has been fixed and will be available in the next patch.
Also, the EU provided by one RStone is enough to do one full operation in the vanilla machines.
Unless mojang does only onelinetweaks, chances are like 95% at least a few methods will change and mess up obfuscation.
Technically, it's the bukkit guys doing the fixing, but yeah.
