I'll just do a fresh install and see If I can't save my world from getting messed up.
The only way that the world can get messed up and corrupted is if you had a custom config in there somewhere.

Upgrade Forge to 1.1.2
I'm going to ask, can you do a compatibility add-on for the Advanced Machines and Advanced Solar Panels add-ons? I really want the advanced machines to look nice with this pack.
@ultimate_omega: if you mean the two working side by side and it doesn't already work I will look into making compatiblity files with him
if you mean integrating the two addons..... well i'll ask him.
Well, it'll be your choice, of course. But even so, I'll give this a shot, and if I can resurrect my video software, I'll work on a demo video for you.
I just tried it putting eleram's rubber wood inside the extractor does yield rubber. uploading screenshot to prove it
I'm already well aware of the Rubberwood/Extractor, thank you. it was the reason I was asking about the potential of the rubberwood working with the C. Extractor, alongside the ores. Thank you though.
I like this, but would it be possible to work with the Charcoal Dust Add-on with this mod? I think that this may make it more balanced. Then again, I don't know.
who would want it import or export energy anyway
nether have huge supply of lava, overworld have sun and wind , they balance each out
I agree. While Geothermal's have the highest EU production rate for generators, solars would quickly out strip Geo's since they would require constant refilling (Besides, this is really null if you're using the Adv. Solar Panel add-on (128 EU/t during the day, and [configurable] 1 EU/t during the night))
Or, there is a mod out there that actually adds an elevator to Minecraft. I can't remember the user who made it, but I do remember that they also reactivated sponges and created a Lava and Super Sponge.
Edit: Oh, and there is an energy bridge mod out there too.
I have to ask, are there plans to incorporate the ore from RP2 to the Rotary Macerator and the RubberWood to the Centrifuge Extractor?
Besides that, fantastic mod. Can't wait for the official update.
Using a wrench on machines (such as a Macerator) sometimes gives back a Machine block. The same thing happens for generators such as Solar Panels, except it gives a normal generator.
Nothing unusual shows up in the console and there aren't any unusual circumstances in use. I can be in creative mode and use a wrench with unchanging energy (or not in creative mode with an electric wrench being used up). In all cases it appears 1 in 5 wrench right clicks will produce a normal machine block or generator. I went through 50 macerators as a test, 10 came back as normal machines. This effect has been occuring on all machines.
This is normal. If you want to dismount a machine without the loss, use the electric wrench.

Thanks a lot! You saved my ass :p
It's no problem. I have, I think... at least five different USB's with a *nix distro on them. Usually for repair of my friend's computers.
YAY!!! I finally get to give this a shot! Thank you!
Display MoreWell, I read the other thread posts... I sendt a message to zipp asking permission.
I don't feel THAT comfortable posting someone's work....
But what the hey... Hope it helps =)
All credit goes to zippinus for making an awesome mod
Lets just call it, helping a fellow minecrafter who actually has a life outside minecraft
PS.
I have not tested it like a real release or anything.. So PLEASE; Backup everything first!!
This will work for the latest IC2 right?
It is possible. If you run Windows, there is a program called LiLi that you can install that will allow you to install a Linux distro to a USB AND install it in such a way that it allows persistence (files stored under the OS on the stick, will stay there and allow for the installing of programs without having to restart).
If you're going Linux, try UNetBootin. It won't create persistence, but it's useful if all you're looking for is like a mobile computer toolbox.
Good news everyone!
So the generators are ingame and working great with the new texture system, I'm going to be doing the machines shortly and then a download release will be up =3
YES!!!
Ya i wish this add on was updated to work with the recent IC2, hopin it happens soon...
Agreed.
What other mods are you running?
The Oil to Water Cell thing is because SpaceToad created Oil as a "spin-off" to the water managment system used in Minecraft.
Actually, when I used my trusty chainsaw on them, they drop insanely fast.
