I am having exactly the same problem, the is no recipe for any of heating coils.
What i did I simply added GregTech to FTB mod pack Direwolf20 1.64 recommended version, its runs but some recepies seems to be missed. Also I tried to rename railcraft mod file into "arailcraft" and to delete all the configs, nothing really helped.
And there is no workaround for getting cupronickel ingots or the coil, hence I couldn't craft blast furnance
