The idea itself is nice, although it is already implemented, in the form of a massive IC² addon, called GregTech. Take a look on the addon sections. You will find it there.

Wow, i didn't know that was implemented on Greg Tech.

Nuclear fusion is possible in a reactor today and it could be a nice way to add content to the mod
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P…0%93proton_chain_reaction

    Nuclear Fusion Advantages:
    -Low radiation.
    -It doesnt explodes if break.
-Hydrogen can be obtained from water being electrolized.
-It generates a lot of Energy.

    Nuclear Fusion Problems:
-Reaction must work into a magnetic field in the reactor, so... it is very expensive for build (Much more than fission reactor (conventional nuclear reactor)).
-If it fails (overheating), reactor doesn't explodes but it could be broken and maybe melt (turned into lava).
-Before it start to generate energy it will need to consume some energy (to get 100.000.000 kelvins) to start producing energy (after it will not need any energy) so.. it should be continuously working to be efficient (Overheating could be at 300.000.000 kelvins).

Reaction mechanics could use a liquid deposit for hydrogen (really it is gaseous):
-More Hydrogen means more energy but it will generate more heat too.
-Less Hydrogen means less energy but it will generate less energy too.
-The hardest thing could be to save numbers with 9 digits in a variable, so.. you could represent only millions ass "kk" (100kk,124kk...) so you only need to save this.

Hydrogen could be contained in a cell :Empty Cell: that can be used to fill reactor with it.

Anyway thanks for reading this post and i hope you like that idea.
