Basically yes but I guess it would be more important to first be sure charter is working top notch first.

Right now when we are under 15 users the traffic on the switch stays at around 900 we reach the lint at 1000 with the new switch we can reach the limit of the Internet which would allow for no packet latency when 16+ users on since the new switch could handle 10x the packets and with its onboard QoS system and 512mb of ram Internet traffic and packet handling would more then triple in speed... It would make a huge difference more then I can begin to explain but we currently are running great but I just have a goal for improvement. To make this server the best it can be... In 12 months and considerable cost the system is a powerhouse only held back by its network. I recently invested in a server grade hard drive and video card (more to remove pressure on the ram and free up the processor) para has paid for much of the software and some of the equipment to build this monster and donations have paid for ram and cable modem and of course the processor and cooling system and a nice GigaExtreme NIC card. The switcher is expensive infact a little more then the cost of the commercial hard drive but it is the goal a 1024 dlink switcher is my dream, however I did not think we would be this close bu now but only 60 more to go thanks to promack and mason... Alright bad news about the 1ghz switch I went to order it and the price is 160 for what we need can not find it cheaper it's a dlink 1024 switch with built in 512mb of ram should make a huge difference but puts us only 80 away from it instead of 10 but still really close slightly better then half way there.

We discussed the wrench issue like 3 days ago the problem is ic2smp bug it's a known issue with the mod I already said 2 pages back since this issue is how the mod works I can not refund it as it is a game mechanic that will exist for some time at least as no mod is currently in line for replacement while modloader and forge install the fixed hooks then all has to be ported to bukkit so we will be hacking this issue for at least the foreseeable future wrenches are not perfect but the problem is organic to ic2

Alright so i figured out that Mchat is an asshole fixed the problem so server is backonline new ip from charter as well use the gultgorge.hopto.org

That donation brings us 1/3 of the way to a new 1ghz switch. Also charter thinks its all fixed now at 8 my time around 5 hours from now my line will be moved should take but 15 minutes they said but they did warn me I may be assigned a new ip if so the hopto address on the bottom should update first since it is linked to a client tracker when the server is up no matter what ip the hopto should catch it. I will also be attempting to add the flans car mod tonight so you may want to have that installed client side before then details to follow.

It's a known issue with 1.64 SMP the wrench forgets micro Ids strange but organic to ic2smp not just this server. Also I want to thank you ahf1983 who donated $25 to the server bravo and thank you.

Timers are in fact a red stone engine when you are online do as you please I have no issue as long as they get shut off I encourage you build your masterpiece.

Well no plugin i can find will detect a player online and output redstone power anyone have any ideas about a mod/plugin that might work, let me know if we can find something life would be easy.

Were back the problem is in the 15Mhz band i have 5db of noise that builds as it goes underload, so the fix is to run a new line from the node making me only 7 links to the fiber line as of tomorrow so warning for an outage tomorrow.

Bought a new Cisco DOCSIS 3 modem to replace the beater I currently am using. I am currently planning on replacing my network switch with a 1gb switch to but they run close to 100 so it will take some donations to get there but next upgrade it will allow a faster network handling to the modem which equates to faster upload speeds meaning better packet handling and an overall faster server.

The server is for everyone not for a few it is only fair that when your not online you are not using system resources that other online players could be using.

edit: it has come to my attention it belonged to a player who should know better... enough said... it has been regened, i really do not like the i am above the rules and not just a little larger but massive larger about 30 chunks. Wow, not sure how to deal with this because it is a very trusted memeber... all i can say i was more then surprised to find out who it was... and a little disappointed.
