Just wanted to point out that the link to the official Gult's Gorge Forums on the first page of this thread is broken. For whatever reason it reads as http://forum.industrial-craft.net/www.gultsgorge.com and redirects to a 'Page Not Found' notice from the IC2 Forums.
I'm assuming most visitors are still able to figure out that its supposed to be gultsgorge.com, but still, someone needs to fix that.

So why is half the new website in latin? And why does Google translate think is says this?

It probably was an IP ban then. And in that case, sorry. I don't think they're going to forgive you just because your brother did something stupid. You can try to PM one of the admins about it (Parasyte or Levint) but i'm pretty sure you're banned for good. Sorry.

Have you been banned on any other servers? Gult's Gorge is a member is of the AGC (anti-griefer community) which means that if you are banned on any other AGC member server you're banned on all of them.

Yes, block RP2 block breakers are uncraftable. Since RP2 and Minefactory Reloaded both provide block breakers, the admins have chosen to use only the MFR one as it is more expensive to craft and requires a power source to operate. However, the RP2 mod is very messed up right now and many of the block IDs have been altered. This is probably what is causing your game to crash. I've had my game crash when trying to craft block breakers, filters, transposers, and a bunch of other RP2 machines. This should be fixed in one of the next server updates. I think its got something to do with compatibility with MCForge or something like that. Anyway it should be fixed soon.

Also, Levint, can't wait for the new processor. Sounds awesome! Should do a lot for helping lag issues and such.

The additional pipes mod is already outdated. The mod author updated it the Thursday, the day after Levint updated the server mods and the new version does not meet the requirements to join the Gult's Groge server. The mod author is also unwilling to provide a 'previous downloads' section for his mod so people can use older versions as he claims all the previous versions have client and server side errors. The author reccommends "Suggest to your Server OP that they upgrade to the latest version of Additional Pipes since it contains SMP fixes."


As of right now, no one can join the server unless they did their mod work prior to the update on Thursday, or have contacted me and had me send them the proper files over Skype. (like Nathan did) So, Levint or whoever else has access to this kind of stuff, please address this issue. In the meantime, anyone who desperately wants to join the server (not sure why you would really want to do that because Walmart nuked it.....) can PM me or add me on Skype and I will send them the proper version of Additional Pipes.


Also, anyone have any idea when we will have the server up? Walmart's nuked map or the real one? Anytime soon?

Oh ok got it thanks fundevin. Forgot there was a /buildcraft folder, I was looking in the /mods folder... lol

Ok this is probably a stupid question, but how do I change the chunkloader ID? I can't find any config file in the additional pipes mod so I'm guessing I'm going to have to edit a class file? If so, how do I edit a class file? I just get gibberish when I open it in notepad...

I've been trying to convince my friend to install industrialcraft on his server, but he's too lazy. I found this server, and would like to join.

There is no whitelist on this server, so join away. That goes for everyone else attempting to join the server too. I know Levint's first post is slightly contradictory, but there's no whitelist, and no need to post on the forums, just go ahead and log on in and start playing.

That being said, the server is going through some difficult times right now and is experiencing a lot of down time, as I'm sure you can see from the previous posts. While we always love new members, you might want to wait a week or so until this all gets worked out. In the meantime we are likely to experience daily rollbacks, crashes, and as Parasyte said, a temporary map.

Well whatever the last rollback was, it went back to a save in which my combustion engines were on. The whole array had blow up and half my power room is now gone... All these rollbacks are really getting ridiculous. So im thinking reverting to IC 1.23 might be the best option. I really want to keep all the stuff we've worked on.

And also, what exactly does "Creative 300x300 area to use as a player creation area for construction for a new player city for all players" mean? Is it like we get creative mode and can hack in all the stuff we want? Because that doesn't sound really fair. Wouldn't everyone just cheat chests full of diamonds?

But then since the server crashed AGAIN, maybe when it comes back up this next time, my combustion engines will be back...

Also, would someone please explain to me why i keep finding long horizontal lines of 1 by 1 water source blocks across the world?? Like someone failed with a WorldEdit job or something...

I was only on for about 2-3 minutes and there was considerable lag and then it died.

I like the new forum Fundevin. It looks awesome! Exactly how un-officially official is it though?

Communication error means that your computer can't reach the server. This is either because the server is offline, or the IP is wrong. The server has been down a lot lately, so keep trying. However, I think the gultgorge.dyndns.biz IP has been having problems with redirects or something like that so you might want to try the raw IP address 24.231.195.125:25565

I'm requesting a ban/temp ban/jailing of kb3ugf.

This afternoon, the server was being VERY laggy and mason1370 and I went to investigate. After much laggy exploring, we discovered the source of the lag to be kb3ugf's house. When we went inside, we found a CHUNKLOADER and an OVERFLOWING COBBLESTONE GENERATOR.

Even worse, this is the SECOND TIME kb3ugf has been caught the source of lag. Two nights ago mason and I found the same overflowing cobble generator and chunkloader!!! We left him a warning sign, which is still up on his wall today.

I have multiple screenshots of these offenses and would gladly share them as proof.

I apologize for this monstrous wall of text,
but please help us, we cant log in!!!


mason1370 and I have been setting up our shop and we've been using the showcases mod to display our stuff. Turns out it doesn't cooperate with Industrialcraft items very well. I put some marble and some uranium ore up for sale in the showcases. The uranium ore glitched and turned into about a stack and a half of ruby axes when i removed it from the showcase. So I went back to the marble and removed it too to prevent further damage. The showcase was displaying it as diamond drills, not marble, and when I removed the diamond drills, Minecraft crashed. I have been unable to log on to the server since Wednesday when all this happened.

This afternoon, mason1370 got on Skype with me and tried to help me sort it out. My character was still briefly appearing when I attempted to log in and crashed, so mason killed me. When mason picked up all the entities I dropped, his Minecraft crashed. I logged back in and didn't crash. I went back to the shop to see what had happened. There appeared to be coal/charcoal on the ground. I picked it up and my Minecraft crashed again. Now neither mason1370 or me (stewythe1st) can log onto the server without Minecraft crashing on the 'loading terrain' screen.

Does anyone have any advice for us?
If not, could one of the admins/mods help us out? I think just wiping out inventories clean might solve the problem.
