It doesn't support changes to the wiring during the measurement.
Maybe it should print a message in that case, instead of just garbage values.
Not sure, but I think its intended, to help you see them better.
That's definitely not the best way to make them more visible, because it screws people (who don't know this) using fancy graphics. Perhaps they should use leaves with black dots on them (like a rubber "fruit") to be visible.
I'm not sure why rubber trees don't just use the leaves all the other trees use, because it leads to the bug that on "fast" graphics, you can see rubber trees from extremely far away (because their leaves are still fancy).
Display MoreFor the rubber tree, if you find one and would like more near your base, chop it down and as the leaves degrade gather the rubber tree saplings. Then take them and plant them near your base. You can create your own rubber tree farm this way.
For the Tin, it seems to only be at the lower layers where diamond is located. Copper on the other hand does not seem to generate below 15.

known bug, should be cleaned out soon. Its because the energy net just updates if a cable was placed. you can also relogg to get it started, since loading a map will also update energy net.

The three dotted side is the higher voltage. Is that touching the MFSU?
It certainly was - I checked and reconstructed a number of times.. it could have been a bug with the order I placed them in (similar to bugs I've had with cables), because it's working now.
Setting up an MFSU output right beside an MV transformer's input, and the transformer's output right next to another MFSU input doesn't work as expected (nothing happens).
I placed an MFSU, charged it some, connected it to an HV cable, connected that to an MV transformer, and connected that (with a gold cable) to another MFSU. Nothing happened in the second MFSU. However, upon removing and replacing the cables, the energy started transferring as expected.

Slightly less elegant then Nargons' SSP method in that I just don't let the cleanup touch mobile chargers, but it generally doesn't become an issue.

The files INSIDE each folder go into the root of their respective .jars.

Changes from IC 8.55_02:
-Mobile chargers should now work.
-SMP MFE's display power out of /60000 and have working power bars, MFS units still meh.
-ITNT/NTNT now detonates on redstone or a LEFT-CLICK from a flintnsteel.
-ITNT/NTNT now are able to be picked up by left clicking them. (Obviously without a flintnsteel in hand)
-ITNT/NTNT do not detonate from fire (Needs a basefile mod)
If you have problems please try to get me a crash report etc on the minecraftforums.

My mobile charger will only repair my Diamond Drill and my Chainsaw if I use it in the Nether; it just does nothing if I try using it anywhere else. No errors are logged in client or server console.
I used up my Diamond Drill, so I got out my mobile charge, put the drill in the top slot, and a charged RE battery in the bottom slot. Nothing happened. Tried switching the order, relogging, etc. Nothing seemed to happen. Am I missing something? Or is it an SMP bug?
Edit: Started working normally all of a sudden. Bug.

Yes, there are plenty of things you can do (One of my favourites is using a piston to move wires to stop the flow of current).
Could you explain how to do this? I couldn't get redstone wires to activate at the end of a cable or beside a generator.
Splitting cables is meant to split energy into two halves, which is great, but it loses energy if the input is an odd number. For instance, if burning coal in a generator and splitting the output to two MFE's, the total energy burned is 4000, but the total energy gained is 3200. This is because the generator outputs at 5 EU/s, and each 5 EU "packet" of energy is immediately split into two 2 EU outputs (since EU's need to be measured in integers), losing 20% of the energy!
Rather than giving each output half the energy of the input, one output should be given half the energy, and the other output should be given the rest. In this case, one output would receive 2 EU, and the other would receive 3 EU. Ideally, it would alternate, to keep things even on average.
I'd like to be able to use conventional redstone circuitry with IndustrialCraft things, for instance with piston applications. Is there any way to do this?
Add 256 to the ID when you /give to allow for the shifted Index.
Oh, yeah, that works. Why do these item ID's need to be shifted, but not the regular ones found in Data Values documentation of Minecraft Wiki et al.?
