They are not purple, they are magenta (unless I assume wrong).

Are you sure it's not mauve? Or fuchsia?
Careful, Quaksen -- next thing you know he's going to be coming over to your house and telling you your "coral" curtains" don't match with your "peach" carpet...
Actually, I shouldn't say "he" - men are content in using basic names for colors. It's women who see significant distinction between minor differences in color, which is why they feel the need to name them after plants and animals.

Wow you can sublimate water? Oo. Pretty much what i've learned that you can sublimate gas and resublimate hard stuff. In this case , can you sublimate directly water? I don't really think so...

A compressor is capable of doing more than simply sublimating something. Take a look on the back of your refrigeratro, or ask someone what's at the heart of a snow-making machine at the ski slope... yep, it's a Compressor.
Combined with an intercooler, compressors have been used for freezing things for a long time.

Nothing silly about it - I've got one world where I don't yet have a Quantum Suit (and it'll take a lot longer now that it's 5 times as expensive!) and I wear a Nano Helmet, LapPack, Nano Leggings and Rubber Boots.
If preventing fall damage is what you're after, use the right gear for the job!

I dont favor the idea of adding covers for wires into IC2, ask eloraam for compatibility between redpower covers and IC2 wires.

So... you're not in favor of using a solution that already exists, but you ARE in favor of making IC2 require RedPoower Core?

    From Eloraam's EAQ:

    Quote

"Make cover plates work on X other mod”.
It’s impossible. It’s not a matter of adding cover plates to another block type, but making a block type work inside cover plates. Covers require a huge amount of code, including a lot of custom rendering, and any blocks that use them have to be written, from the ground up, to make use of them. Anything using them would require RedPower Core to function, even if it was possible. So just use the RedPower equivalents.

Until Alblaka gets his ideas implemented, you still have a solution!

What does the HV output wire go to - and how much power fores that device draw per tick?
Output that can't go anywhere won't be measured. I can have 512 EU packets going into the HVT before my MFSU, but if the MFSU is full, the reading on the wire will be 0. If instead I had a bank of machines that drew only 128 EU/t, guess what the reading on the output wire would be?

It's not as modular as you might think. some stuff depends on other stuff being there.

Perhaps - but the stuff with dependencies build upon the obvious requirements. Just want the redpower wires? Get wiring? Lights are nice, obviously they need wires. World only relies on core - but of rcourse you're going to want to do something with the stuff - so Machines depends on it.

Whether you admit it or not, you can pick only the modules needed for what you want to do.

If BC/IC/RP were collapsed into one and everyone followed the same API and had the same path do you know how epic that would be. It would basically make the game that most of us want to be playing already. You know the one that takes energy management/resource management with a dash of hardcore automation and makes it fun. instead Elo is just going off to do whatever she wants and doesn't seem terribly concerned with who she steps on.

I think FC's departure from the Forge team shows what happens when you rely on a bunch of different people to try and make the One Mod To Rule Them All... It's good that she ironed things out with Alblaka and that SpaceToad is still on board... but what if they decided to go their own ways? Where does that leave her? In the end, she's got to be able to make the mod she has in mind without counting on someone else's mod. What woulld have happened if she built much of her mod on things from Better Than Wolves? Now that FC has guaranteed incompatibility, RedPower players would be the ones who suffer for his choice, not hers.

As it currently stands, RP works well with IC and BC (I nfact, even Eloraam plays with all three in her worlds). Yes, there is some overlap - that allows people the choice of what they want to use and how they want to do it. If ANY of these three mods required one or both of the other mods to operate, then that developer would be at the mercy of the other developers' whims. Those of us who like using all three have many options - those using one or two still have some option to do whatever they're looking for. You'd have a hard time convincing anyone that this is a bad thing.

See, you already CAN play that game that you want - you don't need to roll all the mods into one (as nuce as that might seem to us). Just use what's there and realize that the mountain you stand on is in fact a molehill.

    1. Industrial Craft (oh yeah baby)
    2. Buildcraft (i wish for better compat with IC2)
    3. Equivalent Exchange
    4. Red power
    5. MineFactory reloaded

    Other mods are irrelevant :)

I think you will find that the Forestrymod is right up your alley, too. It's specifically designed to enhance BuildCraft and Industrial Craft.

Block_0.png is no longer used for machines (since IC2 released, if I'm correct). The machine tiles there are basically a legacy, leftover from the old way but unused. The sub-sheets such as block_machine, block_generator, etc are used for those items.

I said "up to" - meaning that is the high-end result I get from using the EU meter at the point where the HV wire enters the transformer to the MFSU.
This is the one spot in the system where I can get consistent results - there's no way to get a basis of comparison by scanning each mill.

I did not mean to imply that this is the output each tick - it's because it's transformed up to EV for the long trip down to the house. But because the setup did not change, we can use that point to determine how much it got nerfed ion 1.337"A" (and that it was fixed in 1.337b)

Well the that a great way to deal with it :D and after the latest update theres no huge isue left, since dimonds are gone maybe? if not, pretty good ratio of them dropping... xD
No complains, i like prefer IC Diamons, since i don't use solars have lots of those ^ ^

Diamonds from UU-M are NOT gone in 1.337 - they are still made the same way as before.
