Or maybe i am content (and feel nostalgic) about the 8 bit blocky graphics?
But ye, i understand that some don't like it. It just bores me so much to read "my HD texture patcher" makes stuff invisible plz halp.

It's your prerogative to like the default textures - just as it's ours to dislike them. Personally, it's hard on my eyes. But the real issue here isn't the texture packs - it's that, even when properly modified, the HD textures aren't showing up as they should.

Trust me on this one, I've done a lot of investigation into it. I've custom-built many HD textures for the pack I use and so far, these pipes are the only ones that have any display issues. That would indicate that there's something in the underlying code, either in BC itself or in the way these two add-ons use it. I suspect it has something to do with the changes SpaceToad made to pipes somewhere along the line, but that's just speculation. I'm not a programmer, but I'm more than capable of constructing functional texture packs.

No, you said he isn't incorrect. How can someone not be correct if they aren't wrong? (Untwist that...)

Because you're the sort of individual who cannot possibly comprehend that there can be more than one correct answer, or that any way of interpreting something other than your own is wrong.
See, until 1.337, that interpretation yielded the same mathematical result - and, so I'll ask you: If the answer is the same as the only right answer you'll accept, how can it be wrong?

Don't try to play logic games with me.

Just out of curiosity (not that i think it's wrong of you to ask about it in this thread) did you consider the possibility that you need to read more about HD Textures patcher and Optifine so you learn how to include new textures for mods/addons that doesn't support them natively?

Did you consider the possibility that some of us DO know how to edit and modify texture packs and that it still happens anyhow? Or that I've floated the issue past SpaceToad himself, who says that it's apparently a problem with how this addon (and certain of Zeldo's pipes) interact with BC? If he doesn't know how, maybe you should TELL him.

I would help you solve it if it wasn't for the OVERWHELMING number of posts i have seen with "this and that Y U NO WRK" without ever considering dropping their precious HD textures or dropping the mod they can't use.

You might be content to play this game in ugly, coarse 16x, but some of us aren't. This was designed for the 21-st Century PC, not a Nintendo NES from 1985. If you can't provide an answer, you're not contributing anything. We're not impressed by your feigned superiority - results are all that matter.

As for Optifine? I tried it - my game ran worse. I've never had any issues with MC Patcher - maybe you're the one that's using it wrong. Did you ever consider that? ;)

If I'm understanding you correctly, the answer is pretty apparent actually. Previously, you could make an iron furnace with either 8 iron (in the traditional furnace pattern), or cover a stone furnace with five iron.
Sounds like now, 8 iron is the standard either way.

It amazes me that people know how to post detailed bug reports with logs but can't catch the big warning in ModLoader.txt

It amazes me that you think that everyone would notice that and figure out what that means. There are a lot of things others can do that wouldn't be so easy for you - It "amazes me" that you wouldn't know how to setup a hemodialysis machine, cannulate a patient and provide a treatment. Hell, I've done it thousands of times.

It amazes me that someone can't open a bag of coffee and pick out which beans are from Africa, which ones from Central America and which ones from Asia... I mean, it's so damned simple!

Though that wasn't necessarily the same issue as I was encountering (if there was an ID conflict, the game wouldn't crash while you're in a world - it simply wouldn't launch!), I'll give it a try - thanks for the advice, but not for the attitude.

[EDIT: Gave it a try and that seemed to work - I can't see how that would account for the NPEs I was getting, but then again I'm not a programmer. If I knew how to make mods, I wouldn't have to ask - but my skills lie elsewhere]

Additionally, some mods will allow industiral diamonds to be used in place of real diamonds for some recipes. I know that I have used them for certain things in RP and BC. Not every recipe, but that's fine.
Basically, when I need to build something, I use industrials if I can - otherwise I dip into my supply of real ones. If I run low on them, I fire up the MassFab.

I'm trying to create a CFpack, I have the proper recipe (sprayer/circuit/sprayer; fuelcan/tin/fuelcan; fuelcan/space/fuelcan0. I see 2 recipes for it in CraftGuide; both are identical and I have confirmed that I have the right parts.
Tried it with empty sprayers, no result. Tried it with 2 full sprayers, no result.

The CFsprayer item icon in the recipe does not appear to match the regular item as it is normally created. Any ideas what the issue would be?

Yeah, when I installed the wind farm a few weeks ago, I got 500 EU/t on the input to the MFSU. Now, I get anywhere from 120-200 EU/t on average.
So, it appears that there was a stealth nerf on windmills. No worries - it's still more than sufficient to power my workshop there.
