Read about nether portals behavior on wiki. It searches everytime you go through one for portals in an area of 128 meters, leading to different portals if there are two or more available.

Suggestion : Portable Tesseract Terminal.
Allows the player to remotely open the GUI of the block attached to the generator, if there is one.It adds 16 EU/t consumption to the generator while the player has the GUI open.
I know the GUIs are coded to close when the player is far than X meters from the block its originating, but you could code the terminal to open a fake GUI which shares the same items/buttons of the original one, or is it not possible?
Suggestion2 : Remote Redstone Transmitter
Rightclick to emit a configurable redstone signal , which would be received by all Wireless redstone receiver covers with the same frequency.
Shift rightclick open a gui :
"Redstone mode : Toggle, single pulse (while you are holding rightclick)
"Strength 0-15 (0 is to deactivate the device, so you can't accidentally activate it)"This one would be nice to remotely activate stuff in the base. I could link this to a self-destruction circuitry, which would destroy the entire base in case of invasion/boredom.

I still have a Nintendo 64, it would work if i hadn't broke the cable which connects the console to the TV.
If i get a replacement, it would work normally.Edit : I got two N64 controllers and Super Mario 64 game for it.

Talvez a resolução de seu monitor seja baixa, porque no meu monitor (1600x900) e GUI scale normal eu consigo ler normalmente as letras.
A redução do tamanho da fonte se deve aos caracteres especiais do portugues (que não existem no ingles), anteriormente citados. -

Thats a problem regarding the font used by minecraft.
When "Português (BR) language is chosen it doesn't recognize some letters written on the lang file the way they are.
It uses special code for those letters.
Try opening .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar/lang/pt_br.properties, you will see that in the place of "ç" and some other letters are fancy combinations of symbols.
That happens as portuguese has these : ´ , ^ , ~ , ` with vowels below them, alongside "ç" letter.

Quando o idioma "Português (BR)" é selecionado ele não reconhece algumas letras escritas no arquivo de linguagem da forma como elas são.
Há um código especial para essas letras.
Tente abrir .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar/lang/pt_br.properties, você verá que no lugar de "ç" e outras letras há estranhas combinaçoes de símbolos.
Isso se deve ao portugues haver acentos, alem da letra cedilha (ç).PS: Eu sou fluente em português porque ela é minha lingua nativa. Eu sou brasileiro.
Falar a verdade eu escrevo melhor em ingles do que em portugues =) -

Also there are systems that instantly kill intruders (MFFS) so you don't have to worry about it.

Out of curiosity, what would you use that for?
Emergency base teleporting, useful for PvP.
Making outposts at your base then "sending" them out. -
Love this idea with some addition:
1. Mglev Rails cannot connet to normal rails (use an adaptor if you want to).
2.
Different voltage of energy that connected to the rails may change the function, like: EV = Safely turning in hight speed mode, HV = Accelerate,
MV = Maintain Speed, LV = Decelerate.
3. Why just make people die?

1. Maglev shouldnt connect to anything and be a special type of rail. Electric and Normal can be connected.
2. Completely unpractical. To reduce speed just redstone electromagnets and they will reduce speed of maglev cart instead.
Voltage accepted would MV by default, using transformer upgrades (8 electromagnets around1 transformer upgrade) you can get HV electromagnets.
3. 45 damage is fatal in most cases as you have only 20 hp, unless you have heavy armor.4. Electric Rail speed : 30m/s. Mag-Lev speed : 60m/s
I think you have to add code to force load chunks faster or default chunk loading wont handle,
maybe making all mag-lev rails load chunks as it already requires some EU, they would be like the Network Anchor. -
False, Redpower 2 has a relatively early game item transport system.

Would the static boots be considered a type of mobile dynamo? it is a different method but it still exchanges food for energy. The recipe is also basic enough to be crafted at a low tech level.
Yes, but it generates so few energy that it can't be considered food to energy conversion.
Also you wouldnt run and walk around to generate about 1 EU per block walked right? -
I understand wanting to convert food into energy but i have a few gripes with it.
To keep the dynamo balanced the output would have to be rather low.
Due to the way IC^2 is coded 1EU/tick is the minimum, anyone who has used a straight solar panel to charge a battery or a tool knows it takes forever.So if a dynamo was implemented at the minimum 1EU per tick all other generators would have to be buffed.
I like the idea of having an alternative source of power early game but it would take quite a bit of coding and balancing.
You know that watermills generates 0,01 EU/tick per water block right?

Current watermill with 0,25 EU/t makes 1 EU packet every 4 ticks.The packet SIZE would still be 1, but the generation can be split into several ticks/seconds.
Dynamo is kinda easy to program, i think.

I like the idea of consuming scrap instantly, maybe charging a bar or amplifier and increasing the chance of scrap creation?
I also support scrap as a liquid but only as a config option.

Back to topic : The main idea was to make the recycler have an internal buffer to consume junk instantly, filling its internal storage, but now its entirely POINTLESS as we have vanilla hopper.Hopper above recycler, doublechest above hopper. There you go your junk buffer.
Hopper below recycler, chest/doublechest below hopper. There you go your scrap buffer.
