Instead of an EMP that disabled jetpacks, I would like some kind of automated turret (with white-list) that fires either bullets (if provided gunpowder + iron/bronze) or laser (if provided energy through cables).
Also if you want to block jetpacks you can make roofs. [And run a EV cable over roof that kills jetpack players in two hits]

I wholeheartedly approve, back in the war... server I used the night vision goggles from SDK's guns mod practically all the time, and I would love if IC2 could get a similar item, although how would it function? SDK's kind of gave the screen a greenish tint that somehow enabled the ability to make out things in the dark, would it be like that or would it be as if the light level of torches is around you at all times?

You could send reactor energy directly (after HV transformer) to 5 mfsus and set them to output redstone when full and use some AND gates to disable reactor when all 5 MFSU are full.

I Would like to resuggest night vision (to MC 1.3+ version) because newest MC snapshot released a Night vision potion, which works great.
Would this room that the telporter brings with it have the possibility to materialize inside a solid block, and in that case would it function like the modular forcefield block cutter upgrade, or would the materials annihilate killing Steve instantly?
Even if you are teleported inside a block, you can break it fast enough before suffocating.

If people really wants Radiation contamination i would suggest something like ICBM nuclear explosion radiation damage. (Turns blocks into contaminated ones which causes Hunger and Poison II and spreads contamination slowly) [And i don't know if it is CPU intensive]
You could increase crop height to max (255), keep watching your crops and do not use weed-ex , remove glowstone roof (crops grow faster if they have direct skylight) , move to swamp biome (crops also grow faster if they are in that biome, and grow slower if they are on icy/desert biomes).
That's what I thought too, but it turns out installation is actually really easy
not really hard, but very time consuming i think.
