So, mauvecloud, most people that use GregTech (i think) uses it in a greggified modpack like Beyond Reality and InfiTech2, those have GT as the main mod and everything else around it. Minetweaker is heavily used to modify said other mods recipes to fit the gregtech tech tree.

That reactor design won't cool down the core (the components does not interact with the core). It is designed to work with MOX which needs a constant high temperature on the core for optimal output.
by crossbreeding I mean the double cropsticks. Two crops, whatever they are, to produce a third.
Fertilizer and hydration in the crop (best provided by a cropmatron) will significantly boost the maturation speed of a crop.
If the crop have a high growth stat said boost is even higher (they multiply each other).
That said, the crops have a maximum amount of fertilizer and hydration that it can stock and will use over time (the cropmatron will replenish it provided it has the resources to).
The boost provided by them is dependant on how close to the maximum amount the crop has, the cropmatron will keep it at those levels.
after a certain resistance it will slow down the crossbreed. I don't remember the number now.
Also crops with higher overall stats (with resistance being the most useless one) consume more "nutrients" from the soil, requiring a better environment to safely grow.
Increasing resistance is really not required at all.

Also, cropmatron does overuse it, so don't use it with it.
Yes, but you won't be told when you're overusing, so just use once and only again when you notice it has lost its effectiveness (weeds appear on that cropstick).
Overusage of Weed-ex will damage all the stats of the plant over time and that is it. It is safe to use it if you're cautious.
Don't use more than once in a very long time (don't reapply until you notice its effectiveness has run out).
You can breed super crops and multiply them in the field.
First its best to increase the growth stat, then the gain stat. Resistance is not required for produce, you won't be running in your fields or anything.
Stats are earned from the parents, regardless of the type, so you can effectively transfer it from a high stat sugar cane to another type of crop. Takes a few crossbreeds though.
You may have better luck using stickyreeds as it is easier to just mutate to another crop type (retaining the high stats of the parent crops).
but a weed generator isn't a problem as long as there aren't any unoccupied cropsticks nearby, is it(and i mean any cropsticks not occuppied by plants with growth >= 24)? there would be no weeds spreading because there is no space for weeds, i think.
While you're right, its still a pain to crossbreed it (in other words, making a big field of it).
Growth 21 / Gain 31 and Resistance 0-10 is optimal.
You may require special environment conditions (4 blocks deep of dirt {includes farmland} , sunlight , decent height {max bonus at Y 128} and decent biome {best biome is swamp, decent is forest-like}).
Said conditions are only really required for high tier crops like metal giving ones. Sugar cane should be fine on poor environment as its a low tier crop. It may grow slightly slower though.
but it doesn't cost that much steel and stores way more. Just make a max sized steel tank.
Its a weed generator, not good. Awful to breed aswell (the crossbreeding sticks often get weeds). keep at growth 21 and throw away anything >21.

IC² crops are far more powerful if done right. With them supplying biomass for biofuel (self sustained production) you have enough to fuel a metric ton of fermenters.

Its not like the steel blades are light too. (real life ones)
Iridium ones would likely spin slower, but would carry the same amount of energy.
It would be an incentive to make a build to cover up that awkward 1x1 pole, to make it look more like a windmill tower and not just some random block in the sky and a rotor spinning out of it.
Even if you can't see it further, having a tall mill with a tiny blade is just strange. Looking to giant blades is more interesting and realistic from a closer point of view.
