Iridium reflectors are infinite (expensive I know) and dual cells dont use any material (iron is recycled on thermal centrifuge), it cost nothing to run. Thus, on the long-run its "cheaper".
Basically, it is a difference between high initial cost against high run cost (after a long usage). Choose what fits you better...

While your reactor is cheaper initial material cost-wise, mine is still more efficient if you use GregTech.
I aimed for a maintenance free (GT), run-cost free (GT), high eff, MOX reactor.
Not everyone is interested in the change log, missing the 1.7 port statement is nothing to be blamed for.
Although that is like not reading a manual and complain why the machine does not work, in my opinion.

It's Greg's job to find recipes which use vanilla IC2 machines and change them (really ten-lines-of-code deal, tell him to do this). Plus there is a GT config option to enable GT <-> IC2 machine recipes.
You could tell him, since you already know the code or whatever sorcery that i dont understand.

Finally a mod for a full scale end game!I came across a little problem. Mass melter can not be crafted with gregtech, the normal IC2 recycler is uncraftable, hence making mass melter unattainable as well. Tried using the automatic recycler but it was not successful.
As i understand without this machine there is no way to make use of this interesting mod.
In addition to this : Use oredict "craftingRecycler" (crafting"NameofIC²machine") in your recipes.
Also, if you really intend on making GT a dependancy, you can play around with chemicals (and add new ones)... as GT is mainly focused on physics tech, not chemistry tech.
If that increases the content given by unidye, i wouldn't mind.
If unidye becomes a GT addon, it could maybe be documented on GregTech community wiki, in a particular section, where you could also edit of course, with organizer rights.

Maybe you should consider playing the actual Cooke Clicker. Because it is of course kinda really more advanced, and you have stuff like achievments and profit from resets and so on.
The dogeminer is being updated, to match the actual cookie clicker stats, achievements and such.

I agree with Thaumcraft (since it has great GT integration), but disagree with Electric Magic Tools (TC itself has a mechanism to recharge stuff using EU).
