A good idea, but too many steps required will be annoying when people want to quickly know what's needed. Thus far, the only difference is the bronze recipe which can be easily set via a switch before clicking the "Go" button.

Indeed, the explosion size depends on the contents of the nuclear chamber. I always wrap in 5 layers, just to be sure, which is fun.

I'd use tin cables to your base, to some sort of storage, then out from there. Though depending on how your solars are arranged in terms of distance to your base and if it ends up being over 40 blocks.

But the EU output is constant and doesn't fluctuate, not really needing monitoring. If you're messing with nuclear power, you should have a fair idea of how much power you'll be generating.

Haven't played Minecraft in a long time. There's only one other game I play, sporadically binging on it, however it isn't on PC.

One PC game I did play for a couple of months or so with vigour and gusto earlier in the year was OpenTTD, it was the closest thing to SimCity I could find that functioned in OS X and heeded my cravings for such a game.

The one that I saw on that video and recognised measures hull heat, it emits redstone at a given temperature, which he has coupled with wireless redstone. The mod is Thermal Monitoring for Nuclear Reactors, though as that isn't currently compatible, you may be interested in Nuclear Control.

He does acknowledge the existence of IndustrialCraft² and RedPower, which is nice. Pity he missed the logic gates, which are pretty powerful!
