Bows are for long-long range fighting, while the laser is capped at around 40 blocks.
Charcoal Dust is still a bit OP, imo, for Solar Panels. It is configurable, so I guess I can't complain too much.
Normal Bow->Carbon Fiber Bow->Energy Bow would be a nice tiered system for adding another Energy Replacement for the normal, Vanilla MC, items.
Not sure, if the above as added, if we'd want to bother with more arrow types, though.
Edit: Also don't think that Forge hook was added in 1.3.1, and 1.3.2 was buggy, so I avoided it.
Or if these are added, have them use the whole "isEnchantable" Forge hook set to false.
Was that added in Forge 1.3.1, or is it in a more recent one?
16 coal per set of arrows seems a bit brutal.
But I like the idea. Only major problem would be enchanting. It would be overpowered to get an Infinity Carbon Fiber Bow.
Could also place a Lapatron at the tip of the bow for an energy type bow. Makes it's own arrows, etc.
Thanks for all the suggestions and assistance, i think ill try this, from what i can see its Xie's mod that is using this ID for modified crops, one other question though, if there are further conflicts would this be in the error report? or when i change this and there is another conflict will that only show then ? and i would need to knock this off the list one by one ? sry for these questions which probably seem fairly noobish but this is the first time Ive had to do this .
It crashes at the first block ID conflict it runs into.
So, one at a time. I don't know of a way to see all block ID conflicts without manually checking them all.

If the code for the Arrays are the same, and the block IDs are the same, it should work.
To be safe (change in code or not), before upgrading tell your users to store all their arrays in their inventory/chests. Then you would only need to worry about matching the IDs. (I think.)
That's how it was in the previous version, and barring any additional functionality I see no reason why that would change.
Unless using the API automagically lets him use the same block IDs as the other machines. Not sure on that, as I'm bad at code.

OK, calm down everyone. The mod is currently in an extremely buggy alpha version. All prior versions of this mod were deeply ingrained in the IC2 basecode, and the increasing difficulty in de/recompiling it has necessitated the recoding of this mod to only use the open-source API. This means that portions of the code are being completely rewritten to complete this task. Once the MAJOR bugs are removed, I'll probably post it up as a beta version. I'm hoping no later than Monday, but I make no promises. I will however post an update either way by then.

It's fairly obvious (at least, publicly) that Adv. Machines is not being added, so I'm moving over to the add-on thread and letting this one die.
Why not just make it so that cobble, snow, as well as the other exploitable blocks can't be broken with the block breaker? This would keep recyclers able to serve their purpose, and stop people bringing the server to it's knees with cobble gens etc. It has very little draw back as well because I doubt people break cobble/snow/etc with the block breaker for any purpose other than mass item creation to scrap. Perhaps Eloraam could even add a config option for this in a future release if someone brought it to her attention.
Anything that naturally grows (minus wheat) can be 'exploited' by the Block Breaker.
Cactus doesn't require it, but it can be used. Reeds are a big one. Melons and Pumpkins are possible as well. Technically you could also do Trees, although requiring larger systems.
By removing the ability to break these blocks, you remove nice RP2 Automatic farms.
