I'm very sorry atomic for this.. But as you can see this complaint fest is why I knew I couldnt bear to carry on the old advanced machines. Some people are very very stuck in the grass is greener or rose-tinted history mindset. The upgraders were the way IC2 wanted to replace these machines. Can you not all see that? Atomic has done you a great favour by trying to bridge the old and new worlds because I suspect quite frankly that if he hadn't had something to interest him in this mod then what would the point have been? Any person complaining 'bring back the old' you have the power just go do it and leave the rest of us alone please, we're trying to move forward not backwards.

Induction Furnace existing in Vanilla IC2 renders all of your logic and arguments invalid, and out of place.
If it was removed from IC2, I'd move on without complaints. However- It exists. It should have counterparts. Either it goes, or counterparts are added. (IE: Normal Advanced Machines.) You cannot bridge the gap between old and new when the Induction Furnace itself hasn't changed, or been removed, at all.

While I fully agree there is a lot of work that can be done, he did say not to talk about the code.
He also said he's still working on the whole agricultural aspect as a whole, too.

Last I heard, when someone checked the code, that Batboxes, MFE's and MFSU's can't be lost when wrenching.
Did they change that with the addition of Lossless Wrench Mode?

I highly doubt they will work on any version they weren't coded for.
There is a small (and I mean impossibly small) chance that it might work for small, very minor patches that don't change much- but there's no guarantee for that.
1.2 though? That's, as far as I know, impossible without major changes to IC2 (and Forge, for that matter).

I had a Diamond Pick with Fortune 3, Efficiency 4, and Unbreaking 3...
Only using it on Diamonds and Coal... It never got below 70%. I quit the world before it broke on me.
So, effectively...
No enchants on Drills- Al and the R-G said. Go enchant a Pick.

As far as I know, the Quantum Suit has never worked correct in the Nether.
At least, not since 1.337.
And I don't think the speed difference in SSP and SMP can be fixed. It's more then just IC2 stuff that does it.

I believe it's a SMP thing.
Chainsaw goes slower on SSP, but you can make it faster by clicking rapidly.
However, on SMP if you click and hold, the leaves are annihilated.
Why I think it's an SMP thing is that farming reeds by hand does the same thing. SSP it's fastest to spam click, but on SMP you can click and hold and wipe out the reeds without any effort.
Also, on a Vanilla Modded SMP server with the Diamond Drill it will eat through Netherrack, as far as you can reach, instantly. Same with Dirt- But not Grass. (Grass takes longer, apparently.)

If it's any amount of EU, constantly, until the end of time....
It probably should be 'hidden' from the Scanners, and can only be mined by chance by the Miner.
Removes all rarity to it if you just throw down a Miner, and bam... Free 16 (or whatever) EU/tick- forever. Then just repeat.

Pumping Water with pipes into a Watermill was already a major No (By Al).

why would you need to loop them? just let them fall to their death and use the newly spawned mobs
also mobs onlt give EXP if a player kills them, not if they die by lava, fire gravity, ect.
Wouldn't NEED to, but you can use a Mob Spawner and it's mechanics to get over 100 mobs going in a loop.
Why kill that mob when you can loop him around and get more EU from him, along with the newly spawned ones?
Repeat to the mob cap, profit. (200 mobs going in a constant circle over and over would be a lot better then just a few that keep falling to their deaths.)

Only way it could be OP is with a mob spawner and looping the mobs around and around on it.
