If you wanna a ee2 but updated i need to show you this awesome mod,it is ProjectE,made by Moze_Intel - which is very cool guy - it has everything that EE2 had...however it has different textures,but if you wanna use EE2 textures,NostalgicHero (Chocohead) made a resourcepack.

Yeah,i know..and the textures are very meh

I like it so so much!Is more interesting than minecraft in some mod-aspects,and....ITS FREE!

Your addon is nice,but maybe you need to talk with someone to change the textures

Probably you need make your own "modpack" if you like to have a nice ic2 experience(Gregtech is highly recommended).I tell you this because all the new packs are centered on RF,which is cheaper and ultra/super/mega/ninja/whatever easy.
