I still think i got a good point (Sukasa idea). Both pipes from the bottom or top put the items in and both pipes from the sides extract the items.

That's how they work. Only problem is this: depending on their direction, they feed from slots 0, 1, 2. The Induction Furnace has 0 through 4, which leaves 2 unseen by the pipes, making it capable of only half power that the IF can deal with. The whole issue here is to possibly get the pipes to interact with the other two slots, making it more effective and simpler to use.

Edit: This is mostly extrapolation, from what I'm understanding from seeing Alblaka's post along with what I've seen first-hand with BuildCraft.

I think what the plan should be is to have the pipes check both inputs (if in top) and both outputs for possible items. If it finds them, it'll either (for inputs) stack onto existing stacks, or (for outputs) pull one at a time, alternating. It's pretty simple, if you know what you're doing. It's a simple plan, I think, and just requires a couple additional codes, but it should work, right? :)

EDIT: Just realized that doesn't work well for a standard machine, except if you have it talk to the pipe. Random thought. ._.

Okay, I think it sounded simple, but It's not working: powered magnetizer, directly powered by a working batbox, iron shoes, and an iron pole. Only I'm not flung upwards...

must the pole be 20 tall? or can it be shorter?

EDIT: Restarted world, works like a champ :)

    Well, it's not working.

Again, the solar is on the top. And I've aligned the dots of both groups to face each other. Twice. Not sure why it's not working.

Okay, I've tried set up a series of transformers:

    Solars
    Copper
    Batbox
    Copper

For some reason, this setup won't work. I've powered both the top and bottom, but no energy sapped from the bat box. Am I missing something? o.o

Okay, I was making iron fences, and I thought "Ooh, it would be lovely to hook up the fence to an HV Transformer and zap creatures." I tried hooking up a copper cable, didn't work. So, my suggestion is (maybe) writing in the option to electrically charge the fence and zap things! (Much like a tesla :) ) Just a thought.

Okay, I haven't found any other support questions (or any posts in IC2) about where Copper spawns. However, given my mines are at a minecraft height of 6 (minimum that bedrock allows for a flat floor), I've found very little copper. I was wondering if copper spawns only in a set level range, or if I'm just unlucky enough to find only tin in my tunnels. :P

To be honest, I see no point with this other than aesthetic looks. Coal is much more abundant than redstone, and doesn't need charging to work etc.

Uhhh... In my experience redstone is far more common than coal. o.o

And on the side of lighting with electric torches, I would have to say that having a lighted tunnel would be neat. And a wireless charger for, say, 50 blocks, would be pretty awesome. Flip a switch, and your tunnel lights up. :)

Okay, I tried growing a subterranean rubber tree, seeing as I spawned in a Dessert with Infinite Biomes on. (Needless to say, that's never a good thing for starting out with). The sapling stayed in its dirt patch through three of a normal tree's growth cycles. I was wondering if this is deliberate or if it's an unintended consequence, or if it's not coded for subterranean growth yet... Or if my area wasn't big enough (5 x 5 x 10). I know it's well-lit, 4 torches, one per wall. :)

    Thanks in advance. ^^

PS I'm guessing treetaps don't work on player-placed logs? O.o
