    Resin in the furnace.

Don't know if thats maybe intentionally, but cables can't be moved by pistons, at least not by stickies. I kinda miss that ability :(
Slightly offtopic: is there already something like a switch cable, tired of always removing the cables when I don't want to charge my MFSU, thats what I wanted pistons for.

Hipo (The original creator of the pistons mod) has made a "patch" for the piston class, to allow it to push TEs iirc.

Awsome. I play with a couple other forge mods like BC and BTW and they have a some sort of techtree/recipie list and makes things easier but IC2 is so huge that im looking at the wiki and im thinking what did i get myself into...

If you read my signature, you'll see cognitive hazard, which IC can be at times.

Also, I'll be moving this thread to the "Off-topic" section at the bottom of the page for further discussion shortly.

Well the title topic sais it all. Anyone could do this but for newer people just getting into the mod and have no clue what to build. Well yeah would be nice to have a list of things like that...

I'm currently working on something. Right now I'm trying to re-grasp the basics, so I can get a nice write-up of a Beginner's Guide, without a lot of speculation/false information.

I've been trying to get the Electric Jetpack crafted I've followed the recipe and checked over and over, and it's correct, but it's not craftable, I have tried with both full, and empty batpacks to no avail. I'm only running IC2 (plus prereqs, obviously) and can't figure out what's wrong.

Use a Batbox instead of a Batpack in the recipe (It's a typo).

Doesn't exactly make sense. The issue appears if your not wearing armor at all, too.
Or were you wearing rubber boots as well?

I can confirm that wearing no sort of armor will cause the same effect as wearing any kind of armor. I might as well get around to testing MCF +BC to see if I get the same issue (without IC2), to see if it's IC2 causing the issue, or MCF.

Ok I got it to work for the most part, just one question about batbox, how do I "draw" power from it? I cant get it to emit.
I noticed when I right click on it with my wrench it puts the side with 1 circle where I clicked, but im not sure if its input or output, tried connecting below and on sides and I cant draw power from it to another batbox :(

    edit:
Thanky ou aiden, that helped a lot since I dindt know it calculates it before.

The "MFE" side is both an output and an input. It's defaulted as the output (The other 5 sides are the input), but upon powering it with Redstone, it becomes the input, and the other 5 sides are outputs.

Ive been spam clicking even on the first cable coming out of solar panel and it never showed 1 EU, always 0 EU.

Also, if I got this right, copper cable will lose EU after 4 blocks, insulated gold after 5 at low voltages, what about MV and HV? how does the EU loss work there.

I will try to put batbox, cable above it, and solar panel above cable to see if that will store EU.

The loss is calculated before transferring the energy iirc.

It also does not answer why it says its released at the top of this page.

Someone jumped the gun on updating the header (or did they. ;) ).

Reguardless, you will know the moment IC2 is released if you're an avid blog reader, and a use the IC forums regularly (Heck, even visit the IRC channel).

    I'm sorry beez ^^'
But porting stuff to SMP gets the easier the LATER you do it. We'll first finish all 1.0 content and then work on SMP asap.
And yes, 0.9 release as soon as i get the last few flaws fixed (currently testing HV sapping, the last feature i wanted to have in 0.9).

    Yay!

On a side note, OMGBBQWTF!?!?! I'm trying to update the Tutorial, but I do not have write-access to the New sub-section, hence me moving it (and putting a do not move tag in the title).
