so I think that 12/4 isnt too unrealistic considering the resource cost.

I dont mind using Mark II personally because it seems impossible to be able to immediately refill the reactor will fresh uran cells the moment the last cycle finishes.

Meh, every time you send down a miner you get 1 ore on average.
soon it just builds up even if you have like 3 Mark I's running constantly

IC ores change worldgen so that seed will NOT give us the same.

However IC seeds are a good idea, we should have an own section for interesting seeds with the ICworldgen (and possibly some with the IC/BC combo oil being considerable more valauable)

yes I too had dreams and designs for 15000 heat breeders with higher than 8x efficiency but it is just not in the code

In the end all material is different amounts of Protons Neutrons and electrons combined in differing amounts and patterns.
gold has been manufactured in a laboratory in RL it just took so much energy to do so that it would never be profitable to do large scale
